That really is such a warmth feeling and making him more like that. "You also need rest, so still don't push yourself too much. You eat anything yet, you rested good?" Yes, he worries of course for Emilio.

"Yea I rested fine..." he yawned. A lie?? Perhaps, but he had work to do and he could rest when he knew everyone else was safe. "..eat... eat.. wait what time is it? Is it still Thursday?" He may have let time get ahead of him again.

"So you say, but you just... well, haven't found them I guess, or is it that the idea of it, I don't know." He then blinks at that next part and a small laugh. "You already know what I'll say to that again. Not like anyone catches my interest, and no one is interested in me anyway." He sips on his own drink. "The way you said those words still."

Emilio looked over at him with an unreadable expression. "I find that hard to believe." He was like Souji, after all. He was cute and small... and strong to boot. Souji had people hanging off him, so Misaki may not see it, but for Emilio it was just a matter of simple correlation.

But for him to be interested in no one... that he understood. They were the same in that aspect. "Besides, if we do have someone, that would give Souji ammo, and we can't have that, now can we?" he winked.

"Well, you surprised me when you did the small bites on my hand." That still was something. "What makes mine special, I don't know." He really doesn't know, but yet, he still was glad. "Thanks still..." His arms then wrap themselves around Emilio's neck for a more soft hold on of him.

"Well, you and Souji do it all the time, so I thought I'd try it too," he chuckled. He didn't know what made him special... it wasn't like Emilio could explain it either. He just knew... that's just how it was, and so they just sat there for a while.

Every once in a while I think about how absolutely unhinged Souji is in the RE verse, I think about him by himself, without his partner in leon, or his son in Asao or hubby in Carlos and how he's just....

He gets everything he wants, and uses everything he's got to get it. But does he like himself?? That's yet to be determined. He's given up on love for himself. Self-love or otherwise. There are more important things that he needs to focus on. He can focus on himself once BOWs are no more.

"...Yo, wanna go to the arcade??" A best friend who knows our boy has to be distracted for a while.

Souji laughed, rushing up to her with a hand on the hit of his sword. "Nah, and have Emilio fuss at me all the way home?? A fate worse than death," he joked.

It was a fight on the bridge, though, a few of the faster ones had gotten far enough to be a problem. Souji was already rushing ahead of Ivy, taking down one before he had a chance to turn around. He had no time for this. He wanted to go home. He'd had it up to his eyeballs with the complex, the monsters, the people behind it... everything.

Not many understood... but this was the only way to get out the aggression. The rage. If not, he'd be a mess... more than he already was.

"Just good to make sure." You fail to remember to reload your glock once... never again after that. "Not that I don't trust you to be more up-close, your better with a sword then I'll ever be with a knife." It's part of what made Ivy & Souji's flow so good, they filled in the areas where the other lacked.

"Yeah, like hell I'm going all the way down to the zombie infested parking lot." Fuck that & fuck those zombies is all she had to say, even if it meant fighting on the bridge, she'll take her chances there. "Better pick up the pace then!" She tapped Souji on the shoulder, as she broke into a more proper jog. "Can't have the ride leaving without the passengers, right?!"

Souji crushing on Leon what a *surprise* xD It looks one sided. Souji it looks like you're pushing him back with your feelings.

"For the last time the only reason why I did all that was to get him into the VIP section with me it's for the mission!!! the M I S S I O N!!!" Of course it's one-sided. Leon isn't exactly the most emotionally available. His only consolation is that he and Leon are partners and trust each other.

Souji: (on a private line) Emi are you sure there was no one else for the mission?? It's hard to do what I need when Leon is incapable of playing along....

Emilio: honestly he's the only one I can trust to keep you on task and keep you safe, so if he gets spiny deal with it. You're a menace during these missions and one of you has got to keep their head on straight.

Excuse him -- he didn't choose to... it's forced on him. Hell... this whole place is uncomfortable. He just pays more focus to what was said and he leaves his earpiece more on. He didn't even pay any mind to Souji's teasing. "He still might try something, be more on guard."

"Oh I'm counting on him to try something, else I won't be able to get close enough..." he winked before nudging him. "Don't worry, Leon, I'll be careful..."

There was genuine happiness from the other's concern, which only helped him gain the attention fo the guard of the VIP section. "Oh hey there, handsome, let us through??"

"You, sure thing, but maybe not him.." he said nodding to Leon.

"Awww come on~~" He draped himself on Leon. "It's his birthday and I wanna show him a good time.. we can't have real fun out on the floor~~ Plus he's got a big budget~~ you know how it is. I promised his big brother I'd treat him right..."

It was one of those times when Leon's face made it more believable, and so the bouncer opened the rope to let them in, and he giggled his thanks, dragging Leon along. "C'mon birthday boy~~"

Has Souji ever lost it for his RE boys? Did he ever lose or almost lose one? Is he afraid of losing them with how dangerous the RE world is.

Only example is Luis. He nearly lost him once and basically demolished an entire floor to get him out.

The fest of losing them if consistent. He's learned not to focus on it to much else he'll lose his mind, but yes it's a real problem for him. Every time he says bye he's aware it may be the last time

"You know, Sou... for a person who uses blades most the time, you sure do prefer men with big guns..." Chris, Leon, Carlos... he knew he said Souji had a type but sometimes it becomes a bit too obvious

"OH MY GOD EMILIO SHUT UP!!!" an agent dying of embarrassment...

Don't mind him, he's scooting away from said agent, searching desperately for the new fidget toy as a peace offering.

Souji dreaming that Leon gracefully catching him in his arms, in his majestic voice asking: 'Are you okay, Souji?'

Lol the knowledge that you're no damsel and instead a trusted partner, but man oh man just once you want him to be your knight in shining armor. He feels conflicted.

not me suddenly thinking about RE!Souji and how his sketchbook must be full of his friends..... like so many studies of the boys, of Jill and Claire, full on books probably dedicated to Chris/Leon/Carlos.....
