Coding is something I've continued to learn this year as a way to understand the technology behind cryptocurrency and it's future implications. I have a project I'm casually working on with a friend and it's challenging but exciting! I used to beat myself up for being interested in too many things and get frustrated easily by what I saw as a 'failure to launch' or 'meet my full potential ' by spreading myself too thin. While I still struggle with that feeling, I know that my curiosity is a gift and the guilt and expectations society puts on us (You have to make art your job! You have to be published! You have to put it all on the line or you aren't living!), and that I put on myself (why would anyone be interested in that? How does that make a difference in the world? Why aren't you doing this every day to get better?!) for so long---it's all just gravity weighing me down. I'm rather use gravity in my flight than be ruled by it. So let's fly into the future......and stuff.
