“Woah! Easy on the goods.” A chuckle sounded as he got patted down and was told about the latest rules upon arrival, being given the usual welcome package along with a collar getting secured around his neck. Colin held his hand to his head, just like upon his previous return a headache was coming on as memories returned to him. “Right, I remember this.” He mused as they took his phone and handed him a different one.

Browsing through contacts, he smiled seeing some very familiar names while he walked out of the office. Though it had been years, there were still quite a few people he knew. It was so damn good to be back, he thought to himself, his previous time here had been a blast and he would be sure to make this time just as great. Inhaling a deep breath of fresh air, he went right in the direction of the cells to drop off the very few items he carried, a smile on his face when he wanted to leave the area again and saw someone just leaving as well so he held the door open for them before even having a good look at them. “After you.” He said with a slight gesture from his hand and a nod.

New arrivals didn’t exactly show up with heraldry and announcements when it came to the cells, at least not in the shapeshifter’s experience.  It was up to current inhabitants to recognize or not recognize the additions to their space, unless it was their bunks that were being moved into.  Isabel spent enough time in the basement that she was familiar enough with the faces that also sported a collar, so when the male held the door open for her, it was fairly clear.  “Thank you,” she offered with a gentle smile, sliding through the exit and sticking her hands in her dress pockets for a moment before opting to continue further.  “You’re ... well, I don’t recognize you, you must be new?  Did you need help finding your way around?  Or to somewhere in particular?” came the offer, the slave worrying at her bottom lip for a moment.  She had a shift at the cat cafe that she was heading out to, but she was early enough that she could take some time to help if he needed it.  “I’m um, I’m Isabel.  Isabel Hai Phan.  Welcome?”

Alfie had been riding around the island on his scooter, bringing flyers for his new restaurant around to drop off, advertising the grand opening party. He hoped it would be a good way to drum up some business, but also he wanted to get some people interested in hopefully working at either Canabliss, or at the Dispensary since he couldn’t be in both places at once. After dropping off flyers to most of the shops, he was going to hand some out in the cells, so over to the school he went. 

When he got there he parked his scooter, locked it on his phone and walked up to the doors, pausing when a guy he didn’t know held the door for him. “Oh hey, cheers,” he nodded to him. He looked the other over and then pulled a flyer off of the top of his stack. “Here, you new mate? Big party in a couple days at Canabliss, the island’s only THC restaurant.” he grinned. “Good way to get over that shock of wearing one of them,” he gestured to his own neck, indicating the collar the other was wearing.

As much as she hated to admit it, it was still a pretty rare occasion to see Qhuinn in the cells. Especially after one of the island’s particular brands of forced fuckery. Not all had been unlucky though and had had a good rental week it seemed, and it was their content if not also reluctant emotions that she latched onto. It did help, making things easier as she made her rounds to check in on anyone who needed medical attention and dropped off her usual little care packages for friends. Soon though, one emotion in particular, one very familiar and optimistic one rose above the rest. And the wolf couldn’t help herself when she saw it was indeed who she thought.

A brunette blur zoomed past the cells and into the arms of the handsome grant student. Qhuinn held on tight, taking in his familiar scent and basking in the glow of that bright aura that Colin always emitted. Until she realized she was likely making quite the spectacle of herself, and him. “Hi” She giggled, as she finally pulled back enough to get a good look at him. Just as scrumptious as always..

Only a fool would make the same mistake twice, but did that count when one didn’t remember the first mistake much? It changed when he arrived, his memories of being here before flooding back as soon as the collar was slipped around his neck, it had his head spinning. Back home he knew he had attended here before, remembering the classes, teachers, old friends, however if someone would ask about how the dorms were, he wouldn’t have an answer, that’s where things were blurry. The devil is in the details some would say, and that’s where he just had trouble remembering. Colin held his head while faces, names, places, memories of species came back one by one just by being in the cell. For two years he had forgotten all about there being more than just humanity in the world. Two blissful years, but he’d make the best of it again, that much he decided as he unpacked his things quite quickly and stepped back out of the cell, making eye contact with one of the guards. “Got my one hour out.” He mumbled with a chuckle, still quite in disbelief. It was almost comical to him as he looked at the grumpy looking face of the guard. “Awe, don’t tell me you missed me.” He remarked cheekily as he turned, seeing some paper on the floor, picking it up and moving the the back of the nearest person. “Excuse me? I think you may have dropped this?”

Grace was very pleased with her Christmas present for Keith this year. She had outdone herself, she had to admit, but she couldn’t resist when she had heard it through the grapevine that he wished to return to New York. Christmastime in the city had always been a favorite of hers, and she could not wait to experience it with her beloved progeny once again. Plus it would give her time to check on her shop on Fifth Avenue, and perhaps take in an auction or two as well. That was a thrill that she had missed, it was not nearly as much fun online. Before they left though she did need to do a bit of shopping, and that was what she was heading to town for today. Tiffany would certainly have some new lovely things in her shop for the holidays. Grace was making a mental list of what she needed as she strolled along, when the breeze shifted and a scent that she thought she would never catch again had her turning as her violet eyes widened. “No that is not mine. But it does look as if something has been returned to me” she teased, her steps measured as she approached him. “My Colin..it has been far too long. You are as lovely as ever” she smiled.

All the fun aside, studying needed to be done as well so Colin had mostly been doing that today at the cafeteria. At least classes for the day had been done and soon enough he done with all he had planned, only reading through things a little. His attention got caught when he heard footsteps draw near.  “Afternoon.” He said, taking a sip from his coffee. “If you want coffee, I’d say be fast, they must be running low by now with the amount I tend to consume.” He smirked playfully as he looked up from his papers. “Can I help you?”

Ciaran made a face as he took a swing from what he assumed was supposed to pass for coffee. The stuff tasted like it couldn’t decide if it wanted to be a solid or a liquid, and had settled on some awkward middle ground that had the consistency of sludge. And the taste wasn’t that far off either. Grimacing, he paused and pitched the cup into the nearest trash can, waiting a moment to make sure the thing didn’t reject it either. At the sound of a voice, he turned and gave the male who had spoken a light smile. “I dunno what that was, but coffee ain’t at the top of my list. A palate cleanser would be great, if ya got such a thing” he joked with a chuckle.

Them as a person : Andi thinks that Colin is a kind and good person. She finds it funny when he acts like what she calls the romantic lead in a romantic comedy, but in a way she secretly enjoys it on some deep level. She thinks he is funny and while she just met him, she hopes to get to know him better. 

Level of attractiveness : 4/5

What annoys them most : Nothing yet, she just met him and hasn’t a chance to be annoyed by him. 

What they like the most : So far, her favorite thing about him is that he has a bright attitude despite being here before and seeing the horrors that happen to the slaves here, he still wears a smile. She enjoys that she really wants to get to know him more, and that they can bond over food, coffee and chocolate. She’s sure there will be more she likes later.

What they’d do if they were locked in a closet together for 4 hours : Probably talk and get to know each other more, or try to break out with some extreme escape plan that will fail miserably and with them laughing. Or maybe something else. Who knows, but she knows it would be enjoyable no matter what. 

Overall opinion : Andi thinks Colin is a great guy and wants to get to know him more. She thinks he is brave for still having a positive outlook on his being here when he can remember what he went through in the past and the things that happen here to the slaves. But she wants to get to know him more, to find out more about his past, his likes, his dislikes and hopefully become friends, or maybe more, or maybe not. Really, she just wants to see what happens.
