What not to do when building your Personal Styling business...

First of all, don’t move five times in four years, and consequently, never have a office or homebase. 

Actually, strike that. 

Move all you want.

 In this ever changing climate of Personal Styling, flexibility is king. I may just be cheering myself on here (highly likely), but in the past several moves, I have learned more than I could’ve dreamed by staying put. I never could’ve predicted it. I’ve been so grateful to get to share my thoughts on style to groups of business women, attend L.A. Fashion Week, work on my first editorial and meet some of the coolest, most down-to-earth people who amazed me with their vulnerability and trust as they invited me into their closets and into their lives to work with their personal style. Guys. I’m the luckiest. And you people are the best. 

So, while I haven’t had a constant stream of clients or regulars, I have had a constant stream of learning and first hand, in-your-face learning. From Central Florida, to New England, back to Colorado, to Los Angeles (let’s be honest, it should be it’s own state), to Maui; I couldn’t have asked for a more diverse style palette. I wouldn’t trade that for a four year layer of dust settling into my desk files. 

On a personal note, we have in fact, moved AGAIN. Yup. Sixth time’s a charm? I am excited to get into a space where I can work, where I can build a clientele and begin learning a whole new thing- the art of creating and building in one consistent place. 

Next, I couldn’t be more thankful for those of you who’ve hired me, given word-of-mouth and supported me over the years! Lord knows I’ll be relying on that kind of cheerleading in the next several months! We over here with The Closeteer are thrilled to be back in Colorado for the long haul, serving all your style needs! Of all the services we provide, Personal styling sessions are my favorite, but that’s a post for another day. There’s loads to choose from and you get to personalize it to your needs and lifestyle. I’ll keep ya posted on the latest packages I offer and special pricing as we gear up for Colorado 4.0. You guys are the coolest. Thank you. I love you. And I can’t wait to get you looking and feeling your personal best.
