I realized last night I haven’t screamed at this home. I’ve dropped stuff and oh shitted, I’ve yelled at appliances why they no work, I’ve bemoaned the need of a drain hose for the washing machine but I haven’t screamed

there is no toxic bitch parked in the middle of everything screaming vulgar things at all hours

I’m not exhausted to the point of collapse, I want to be home, I can see end results as far as my executive dysfunction will allow. I can exist here.

I knew the bulk of my problems were my sister’s fault and told her to her face they were. Blaming everyone else was her strategy any way so why not use it?

her constant asshole behavior drove people away and her refusal to get income kept us homeless longer than we should have been because I know landlords couldn’t see how 3 adult people lived on 2 people’s fixed income

all it took for this place was what we almost had in the mountains but was also a smaller place like this, someone who knows that disabled plus a rent voucher means a steadily paying tenant who won’t tear your place up because you can’t get a voucher if you break certain rules

we’re even talking a load out for every 2-3 coming in and it’s picking up pace because we are able to function

today a load of old bedding is off to the animal shelter to keep pets warm. places that work with animals almost always take old but washable towels and bedding when human places won’t
