I'm in a Confidence Seminar now, and I learned a lot:

Self-esteem is how you feel about yourself. Confidence is how we feel about our abilities to do tasks or perform roles. I now can confirm I have self-esteem but there are times, especially when I am anxious that I struggle a lot with self-confidence.

It's okay to feel you are not good enough. What's important is what you do about it - will you just stop and give up OR will you work on getting better?

Have the courage to take the first step. Maybe, just maybe... that thing you're scared of doing would be the one to bring the best in you. Taena totoo. Still, my 9-year relationship break up which I never thought I'd ever live through CHANGED me. I learned how I settled for less for fear of going out the familiar. Same with the most heartbreaking decision of leaving a company I loved with people I adore. If I did not take that risk and took on a role that was TOO MUCH OF A JUMP from my role then? I might have not done all the policies and programs I did, or even launched the 2M Dollar Workforce Management Project (knew nothing then about software) if I stuck in being comfortable and safe.

From conquering your greatest fear, you'll gain confidence- about your ability to overcome it and your capacity to grit through struggle.

But here's the catch... you have to do it CONSISTENTLY. Grow consistently. Accept your mistakes and learn from it consistently. SHOW UP EVERYDAY. Kahit na ayaw mo na mag-life.

Discipline >>> Passion

Be 1% better everyday. It's okay to do only 1% today, then 2% tomorrow then 50%.... as long as you do something towards your goals.
