Since I am a massive fan of Status Quo, and Francis Rossi is the lead singer and lead guitarist, I've asked him about that. He replied he is a fan too. After the photo session, the band was standing there, so I grabbed my chance to ask Dan about his wristband (the thing on Dan’s right hand while he's playing): he replied it is a ‘sport tape’. If he does nothing, his hand bleeds after 3 songs. This is the best he could find. I told him Rick Parfitt (from Quo) changed the bridge of his Fender Telecaster, for the same problem.
