"I believe this to my core, there is no best musician, best artist, best dancer, best actor. The creative arts are subjective and they reach people at a point in their lives when they need it most. It's like a song or an album is made and it's almost like it has a radar to find the person when they need it the most." - @jonbatiste ♪ A big congratulations to Jon Batiste for winning the 2022 Grammy Album of the Year. His speech spoke directly to the core of our organization and specifically why we created our #songthatfoundmeattherighttimeseries. ♪ 📷: #OliverSchrage

Any mommy/ daddy music therapists out there struggling to provide for their own babies with the quality/ quantity of music that we know from research is great for bonding and development? I am a mom with three children 3 years apart. Sometimes I may portray to be managing well on the outside, but these days I am just feeling tired and am having some low moments especially when I had no time to feed my soul. My first born got the most music time with mommy. We had a weekly moms and bubs music group at home. My second one tagged along to my weekly inclusive music group. My youngest one listened to his brother’s piano, his sister’s glockenspiel and A LOT OF Baby John on tv and pop music when we are out and about. Amid my very busy mothering schedule, I try to fill in a weekly/ bi-weekly/ monthly music time just with my youngest. I can tell from his eyes and smiles that he craves the connection, and he is mesmerised by the beauty of the music. To all daddies and mommies out there, please sing your favourite tune to your babies whenever you can. It feeds your souls and theirs. #musicbondingtime #soulfeedingtime #earlychildhood #earlychildhoodmusic #musicandbabies #conbriomusictherapy #babiesconbrio #connectionthroughmusic https://www.instagram.com/p/CKSlmyBH-gR/?igshid=jxglbte75zmx

😔🤎 Reposted from @soundsofsaving “I'm so proud to be part of this special song "You Are Not Alone" to unite with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) to raise funds and awareness to mental health. 💕” - @mwilsonsupreme in her last tweet ♪ Mary Wilson passed yesterday at the age of 76. She was an American singer and performer best known as a founding member of the Supremes, the most successful Motown act of the 1960s.
