Vogliamo che questa piattaforma ci sostenga e si batta per la nostra sicurezza. Tumblr è reso più luminoso e vivace dalla vostra presenza e le persone LGBTQ+ che aiutano a gestirlo lottano continuamente per questo, per voi, internamente.

Qualche giorno fa, Matt Mullenweg (CEO di Automattic, la società madre di Tumblr) ha risposto alla domanda di un utente circa la sospensione di un account, e la sua risposta ha colpito negativamente la comunità LGBTQ+ di Tumblr. Riteniamo che la risposta di Matt a questa richiesta, così come i suoi commenti, siano ingiustificati e dannosi. Le politiche di Tumblr e di Automattic sono pensate per garantire la libertà di parola e di espressione. Proibiamo le molestie come definito nelle nostre Linee guida della community, ma sappiamo che questa politica non è in grado di proteggere gli utenti dai tanti discorsi dannosi spesso utilizzati contro le persone LGBTQ+ e altre persone che subiscono emarginazione.

Secondo quanto riportato nel "Domesday Book", una sorta di registro censorio voluto nel 1085 dal nuovo Re d'Inghilterra Guglielmo I il Conquistatore (1022-1087), sembrerebbe che Lady Godiva fosse tra i pochi anglosassoni e l'unica donna a rimanere un'importante proprietaria terriera anche dopo la conquista normanna del 1066.

G. Leopardi e la filologia

Fu anche filologo di valore. Nel senso formale, nella raggiunta convinzione che la filologia critico-testuale ha un proprio stile scientifico: difatti gli abbozzi di lavori filologici posteriori al soggiorno romano sono tutti redatti in uno stile volutamente impersonale e stringato; così quando discuterà col De Sinner sulla forma da dare al proprio volume di scritti filologici, Leopardi sosterrà che l'unica forma adatta è quella di note critiche. Un lavorio tanto più difficile, se si pensa che non ebbe a disposizione la tradizione manoscritta per operare una compiuta recensio, ma rifece per conto suo congetture che erano state già proposte da filologi precedenti, o indovinò la lezione di codici a lui ignoti, sicché una sua congettura, rimasta ignota, è stata poi riproposta da studiosi del secondo ottocento e del novecento. È un fatto che le sue congetture vengono riproposte in sede di apparato nelle moderne edizioni critiche di riferimento (bibliotheca teubneriana, corpus paravianum, solo per citarne alcune), congetture condotte solo sulla base di criteri interni (lectio difficilior, usus scribendi dell’autore), tenuto conto delle edizioni che almeno nel periodo recanatese aveva a disposizione, spesso non sorvegliatissime sul piano testuale. Solo a Roma nel 1823, grazie all'iniziativa di Francesco Cancellieri, ebbe a disposizione i codici Barberiniani, consultati nonostante le difficoltà frapposte dal bibliotecario gesuita Luigi Maria Rezzi, il che gli permise di scoprire ”quell'operetta greca sconosciutissima” da identificare con la pseudo-libaniana Pro templis, mancante nelle edizioni sin allora esistenti che integrò rispetto alla lacuna dell’apografo. Colpisce anche la minuta descrizione dei codici Barberiniani, sino a quel momento incompiuta. Ogni nuova esplorazione portava in luce lezioni nuove: va quindi rivendicata al Leopardi la priorità di moltissimi contributi, poi apparsi, come detto, nelle più accreditate edizioni critiche moderne. Maestro insuperato di questi studi fu Sebastiano Timpanaro la cui opera introduttiva risale al 1955 nella sua prima edizione.

Può apparire eccentrico l'approfondimento del Leopardi filologo, tuttavia, come sanno i leopardisti, grande fu il debito che il Leopardi artista contrasse con il Leopardi dotto.
