Me: I understand if i want to make more connections and find more cool things to be a part of i have to get out there and Do things and got to Events; so I am going to try and go to some local art events!

My job: i thinK the fuck NOT!!!!!

#monster noises #everything cool that I want to go to happens when i'm working and it sucks and i'm mad about it #art centre life drawing classes are Always during work hours #i'm always closing on the days of a comics jam #cool zine event happens on a weekend that i'm Off but i worked 4 days straight and am too tired and worn out to go try and socialize #library hosting a book fair but it's on my weekend On #free comic book days happens on a worl day #i'd love to Participate in Events #but they always happen when i'm woRKING #it sucks!!! it sucks and it sucks and it sucks!!!!!!#even if i went to one of these things and made like 0 new connections but got some rad books or saw/made some art i'd be Happy!#but every fucKING time #it happens Right inside the window of when i'm sechduled any given day #i keep good tabs on the stuff happening in my city #with the intention to attend at least Some of it #but it never works #it never works..#40 hours a week is too many hours a week #it's all the hours in which things can happen
