Prince Mario and Luigi were both eventual heirs to Mushroom Kingdom. They had been through many trials and tribulations growing up, most of them political in nature. But this? This particular situation was racking up points to be far more of a disaster than any political outing they'd ever had to take part in. The castle had been in perfect working order that very morning, but now, pipes were giving up and busting right and left! They needed a professional! Maybe even two! Thankfully, they knew exactly who to call in for help.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice," Luigi said, relieved to see Peach with her ever-trusty tools in hand. "Mario and I have been running around all morning long trying to fix this or at least minimize the damage... but it keeps getting worse!"

Ears perking, Edge turned towards Princess Peach. She gave the other a light smile, then turned to the distance, contemplatively staring at the sky. There were times that Edge felt somewhat pessimistic; she knew her own strength, and the strength of the heroes. But with every Spark that Cursa absorbed, the stronger it got. She would be lying if that didn't give even her fear deep within her chest.

She knew they could defeat Cursa, and that they would. But until they did, she’d stay on her toes, and keep a pragmatic state of mind.

All the same, Peach’s words did help, and gave Edge some peace of mind. She folded her arms over her chest and closed her eyes gently, trying to picture a time where Cursa didn't exist. Her smile grew slightly, and she turned her attention back to the princess.

“Honestly?” she mused, “I'm looking forward to seeing it.” she offered her paw to Peach, as if to ask for a fist-bump, “Glad I can be a part of making that future.”

He pokes his head around the corner of it nervously, as if he expects a secret service of Kongs to rope down from the ceiling and tackle him if he takes one step forward.
