mars on IC: in your childhood you’ve watched a lot of fights and then love gestures -like kisses and hugs-. you saw your parents/people who lived with you being really unstable and contradicting in their actions. you could have felt really worried of how impatient they were and how they suddenly they acted like they did nothing. that’s why you’re so cautious/defensive about others response.

sun on IC: you could have looked a lot for your family’s acceptance. you could have felt the need to mold your personality according to your family’s wishes. a mother figure could have been more present. you could have been overprotected or too shy to socialize. you easily run out of your social battery. major introvert.

It's just another day at Jujutsu High. The weather is a bit chilly but alright. The classes were going well and the students were learning a lot as they could to become sorcerers. There were a handful of missions from here to there but nothing serious. The missions were fine, just normal curses of grade 3s residing in the building so it wasn't too bad.

Not to mention, a certain partner goes to visit a certain wild tiger on campus.

"So she's really here, Fushiguro?" Kisho Hashimoto aka Daichi PhoenX asks him about what's happening. "Like seriously here? For how long?" He asks his classmate.

“I can if I want to, but you helped me, so I'll help you.” A small smile tugged at Tianna's lips, but it disappeared again when Kyle asked his next question.

"You'll see when you go to where it was originally mined. With your friends, the elves. It's brimming with magic. I'm not sure if this particular ore can be found anywhere else. You could ask the dwarves. Maybe they secretly helped themselves to the ore back then." She shrugged, as she didn't really care either way.

“Or you ask yourself what you could offer the elves in return. However, I doubt it will be easy to convince them to make a deal with humans. Pardon me... one human and one vampire.”

Lian thought about her words, folding his arms. Now it made sense why the elves had never been willing to discuss participating in this war. They simply had nothing to fear.

Then he looked at Kyle, weighing various factors. “We don't have just one. We have several.”

When Kyle spoke to him, Lian seemed to be torn from his thoughts. They seemed so close to one of the many answers they were on the trail of, and yet they couldn’t get close enough to grab it. Tianna had them hooked and could either speak up or let it go. If Kyle killed her, they’d be just as far as they were before.

“No.” He frowned, but he had to come to his senses and realize that Kyle wasn’t the one who deserved his surging anger.

“No, I don’t know what she’s talking about. But I’m sure she’ll tell us in a minute.” Instead, he turned his eyes back to the woman, who was expected to continue speaking.

“In a minute or two.” Tianna giggled in response. “It’s a double-edged sword… Demons are powerful, even without any outside help, but they realized pretty early on that they needed someone to help them create a shield when they wanted to become sheer overpowering and make their enemies feel like they were practically invincible. They bleed like you, but only once you’ve broken through it. So… what do they do?”

Curious, she let her eyes wander back and forth between Kyle and Lian.

“They are questioning the wisest among you. The most ancient beings who had enslaved dwarves to mine ores for them to adorn their robes, instruments and vessels with. It was a trade. No one remembers exactly what it was about, but the elves made a deal with the demons and gave them an ore that was both a curse and a blessing. Take too little of the power of their new gift and the shield weakens. Take too much and it harms them permanently. It’s like stepping on a scale and not knowing which way it swings. They’ve perfected it.”

The greenish light around her body weakened and finally disappeared. “So… I’m not your enemy anymore, am I?”
