Putting a bit more martial arts wisdom up in here, something I tell me stupids often. Often times we find excuses for yourselves, the biggest offender being "oh I don't have time."⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ All it takes is 5 minutes, 5 extra minutes out of your normal routine; heck, put it into your routine. Run through drills in your head while you're brushing your teeth. See how far of a stretch you can go into during a commercial break. YES - Youtube ads, let them run versus skipping them and use that time intentionally. But practicing light floppy kicks will result in those being your types of kicks too.⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ Not in martial arts? Alright - run through your next cosplay skit, practice 10 minutes every night before you go to bed a technique you want to work on for your next cosplay. My point is, practice will never make perfect, BUT practice will make you better at ____Fill in the blank. I feel like this is a default pose of mine 😂 and to those who say it doesn’t really protect your face - you’d be correct, BUT for photo sake I like this instead (haha, photo pun). Amazing job working with @negativelightstudio at @animemilwaukee 2019. I’m debating bringing Wonder Woman to @kitsune_kon, but we will see. Modifying a bit to bring Shenron, Totoroki, and Totoro (maybe a casual Merida??) because while I want to get Erza done, I want to take the proper amount of time for her too and not rush it. What month do you find the most rejuvenating for you?⠀ .⠀ A lot of individuals pick January, because of the new year new you. Some pick July, because it’s half way through the year, the sun is out and shining? I personally choose August/September, partly because of of the school years drilling into me that it’s a fresh start, but it’s often times when I see a turn around in myself with motivations, a lot of activities are happening, but fall is also my favorite season so I’m just all around happier - and believe me, that does play a big difference in natural motivation versus driven motivation.⠀ .⠀ I think it’s important to know that you can start any month and continue that process throughout, not just because of a beginning but because of your passion and desire for something.
