One of my new windows! OMG! I'm so happy that this thing was finally fixed! It was being held together by duct tape! The problem was, nobody could come into the house until I was fully vaccinated. Why?

So, why am i starting this? It’s pretty simple. I’m bored right now.

To help me not get bored and exercise my typing and computer skills, I’m trying to make this blog work. I’m not really sure if it will, but at least I can tell my grandchildren in the future that I tried :P

So here it goes...

I’m a Filipina (from the Republic of the Philippines) living in Costa Rica. Living = Working. It’s not that bad here, in fact, it is a very nice place. Came to this country end of August when the weather is wet and the cold wind is starting to build up. Ofcourse I like the weather here compared to the hot weather in the PH. Been here 4 months and a few days now. It’s quite interesting at first because of the new environment and I got to see a lot of “foreigners,” though I’m the foreigner here. And people speak Spanish...only. It’s hard to talk to people because only a few knows how to speak English fluently. So, when I came here I started to learn Spanish, which I’m still bad as of this moment. And so, back to “it’s quite interesting at first,”  yes, at first, but when you get used to the same routine you will find yourself wondering “what else is there?” Yes, I did have those thoughts. Well, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have an interesting job, in fact I do. I’m an accountant by the way, and currently, I’m doing an operations job in Finance. Dope, right? Work-wise, I’m all good. But when you realized that you’ll be far away from home for a long time, you’ll be far from your comfort zone, that’s when you will have “the thoughts” and the “lonely feels.” I have those moments when I ask myself why am I doing this, why I wasn’t content with my job in the PH, why and more whys. Then, for just a few minutes, my brain will give me answers for those questions, justifying and trying to make sense to everything. Good for me. Yey! Then I’ll be bored again, and think of those questions again and then came the answers and justifications, it’s a cycle, it won’t stop. So, I hope that by making this blog, by typing my brains out, I’ll be able to break the cycle. Or maybe I’ve just added another process in the cycle (auditor talking)..hahaha..

I’m not really sure where this topic is going. They are just bored thoughts. Maybe next time I’ll have a more interesting things to type in this virtual diary (so 90s). :)
