has anyone ever done a wwdits-inspired mihawk perona zoro au. like obviously not everything would carry over but the vibes are definitely there.

mihawk as nandor is very real to me. weird old man with great military prowess who for some reason now lives with a bunch of other weirdos. shanks is the lady from the one episode that nandor keeps trying to turn into a vampire but she always turns him down for funsies. perona is obviously nadja. just a group of weird goths living alone in an elaborate castle getting up to hijinks. zoro's there too but he's just a guy who wanted to learn swordsmanship and accidentally gets roped into the role of beleaguered familiar after tripping over the third body this week

Same anon that’s been bothering you about the vs siblings in the soulmate au 🫡 back at it again except this is more of a worldbuilding question bc I got curious ,

Is it the sort of soulmate au where sometimes people are born without soulmarks for one reason or another and it’s natural, or are the siblings kinda alone in their circumstances of not having any soulmark specifically due to the genetic modifications? Since it was implied in one of the answers that Mihawk and Sora could tell the mods worked for 124 because they were born without soulmarks, I got really curious to know the specifics

And if the latter is the case , I’m kind of curious as to how Reiju and the boys feel about being kind of, like, uniquely cosmically lonely in a way no one else around them is, even though they do have loved ones they cherish.

It's extremely rare for people to be born without them. I believe the vinsmokes deemed them 'unnecessary' so Judge didn't have one, the clone army, most of the kids because it would mean they're human when they're supposed to be weapons. Therefore removing their emotions, augmenting them to be weapons and not humans means they did not have soulmarks. Others don't have them for a variety of reasons or just simply refuse to believe in fate or soulmarks(is this for zosan angst? Maybe!) so they're not alone but they also don't know how to feel about it.

They don't know if they feel alone because they haven't experienced romance or felt a different type of love from familial love which freely and wholly given by their parents and each other. I think part of it will be them setting off eventually and finding different types of love and relationships because they still have a lot to learn.

I gotta imagine when Zoro and Perona are both on Kuriagana Perona is flirting to hell and back with Reiju and Reiju doesn't understand, she's not uncomfortable but she doesn't get it. Mihawk and Sora are probably trying to explain it to her and the brothers are sitting with Zoro and watching when Ichiji points out that this is a problem since they have only read about it. Perona and Zoro ask if any of them have ever been flirted with and the four shrug and Sora points out they have all been flirted with when they would go see their brother or have been out and about shopping.

They all stare at Sora blankly and ask what flirting is and Mihawk snipes that with 'what you all call me disgusting for doing with your mother.' and they all scream. Zoro and Perona included.
