#news#lambgoat#linkin park#emily armstrong#cw Scientology#scientology#cw Danny masterson#Danny masterson#I also don’t feel great about how she said it was ‘a while back’ and ‘several years ago’#it was two years ago#this is not ancient history#there are also allegations that she actually testified in his defense#tho I’m not comfortable pinning that on her until court documents are produced#given Chester’s history I really don’t want to believe that lp would just ignore all this if it were true#but like…Chester was sexually abused and battled the trauma that resulted from that every day of his life until he ultimately lost his fight#and scientology actively denies psychiatry#so really I would like to believe that they fully vetted her before putting her in Chester’s shoes#but the idea that they didn’t anticipate this and get it all out on the table first worries me#either they didn’t know or they didn’t care#and I really don’t wanna believe the latter#idk the whole thing is a little upsetting really#I’m already not happy about them reforming#I think lp should have died with Chester#reforming with the same name to ‘honor Chester’ just feels like a cash grab to me#like they could have just made a new band#coulda called it something that references lp to keep it connected#but I digress
