Now in full flower and even setting seeds is the Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia) also spelled crape myrtle or crêpe myrtle. Native to the Indian subcontinent, southeast Asia, northern Australia, and other parts of Oceania, grown in warmer climates around the world. Beautiful tree/bush that develops an attractive trunk and bark. Often pruned back hard but if you allow it to grow it will develop a nice shape. It has started to show powdery mildew from the humid weather but it is mostly out growing the attack and continuing to flower. #CrepeMyrtle #Lagerstroemia #Oceania #abcmygarden #CrêpeMyrtle #tree #bush #Pink #PowderyMildew #Fungus (at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CojYmPiPdJ4/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
