On the first playthrough, this is the story of a determined girl who bonds with two goofy pals while on the search for a lifechanging truth.

On the second playthrough, it's the story of a poor French girl who has no idea she's getting dunked on by the approximate AI facsimiles of a highly skilled QA beta tester who has beaten this game multiple times over and a crime lord running the world's most convoluted password phishing operation.

Okay, so I played about halfway through CrossCode, and then I just forgot to ever get back to it

Sorry for the completely silence on in stars and ham (my isat liveblog that at least two people are paying attention to), a friend of mine is currently playing through CrossCode after I bought it for him as a holiday gift and as such ive been a little occupied with that

Oh, man.  This one’s been pretty funny so far.  I love Catra just. Fucking with them.  It’s so great.  She’s so good at it.  I hope the rest of the episode is this funny.

The stuff with Swift Wind is...there, I suppose.  I wonder why exactly Adora is so creeped out by him.  Maybe it’s because he’s been thrust upon her as some kind of “completion” or herself?  I can’t say I’d react well to that sort of thing.  Ah well.  I’ll see soon enough.

I now understand why people complain about the puzzles.

It's because the devs were absolutely not fucking around when they decided that they wanted tight timing windows and angles to be a core part of the puzzle solving, and that's going to be a hair pulling experience if you aren't up for that kind of bullshit.

Personally though, I'm having a blast. I don't dislike easy puzzles but it's nice to have an actual challenge that isn't my cousins' 1000 count jigsaw puzzle of some modern art piece that was 50% pure white that they gifted me for Christmas because they thought it would be funny.

This was probably the hardest puzzle in the second half of the dungeon so far because I overcomplicated a really simple solution

I'm not sure what the point of that << block was because I didn't need it...

You know what? My guy deserves this. He's been bullied enough in this playthrough and in the end he finally got his win, without any hax.

The raid was this little shit's idea too

Man, I am impressed by how much thought went into this twist.

I am confident that he's hiding limited edition copies of the entire Sigmund Corp saga somewhere underneath his cape

No offense Emilie, but when I finished the magnet dungeon in my first play through I developed a tinfoil hat theory that all of the rooms in your instance were replaced with Wind Waker puzzles

This is probably the first time I've seen an actual moderator in this game

Heh. If only you can see three layers of meta above you and learn The Ultimate Truth.

I wonder if there's a mod that lets you play this game as one of the other classes.

Is this the highest level quest in the entire game? Anyways I'm glad it only took two tries instead of the +5 the first time I met this monkey.

I think I'm all out of quests to do so time to head through the point of no return and see what the ending has in store for us.

My only only gripes about the quests are:

The rewards could be a tad better (XP was fair though)

I though there was going to be a game spanning questline regarding the girl who found the Legendary Rabbit and the Omni Glider guild she joined, but that ended up going absolutely nowhere

Those suspicious cubes were actually perfectly normal environmental objects with no secrets to hide. I think.

I knew there was hidden banter between party member combos that aren't Emile + Ctron or Apollo + Joern somewhere in this game and I finally found some!

Hearing "Lea" talk like this must be a surreal experience for her

"Lea is this guy always like this?"

I guarantee you that when he was playing through his Triblader account he was yelling about blade superiority from the heavens while LARPing as Link

I have fond memories of Emile dying multiple times during my first underleveled S-rank kill streak.

I'm confident that there's at least two pieces of fanart of Grasshead hiding in the grass

You can just tell by their dialogue that the Lukas + Buggy tag team was full of troll vs troll combat

If I had known that Hexacasts cast spells with Yugioh cards then I would've picked that class in a heartbeat

I know this is just a cheeky jab at Lea's vocabulary but I'm curious if there was actually a word she could've said to solve that sidequest without fighting

The slow windup big damage ice melee attack is OP and there's an upgrade path for it?! But it's already amazing, it only took three tries to take down the Moth Boss because it shaves chunks off its HP bar

Thank you, much better hint than last time. I'm missing a chest again but I can definitely work with that.
