Clawdeen and Tucker:

Family! Cousins! spookberry here on tumblr has a crossover au where Tucker and Clawdeen are cousins and it's a cute little dynamic and honestly just a cute little comic and crossover over all! I like how Clawdeen has some older sibling energy and looks out for Tucker but also totally teases him too. Tucker is a fish out of water going to a school for monsters for the first time but his fam has his back!

Nightcrawler and Nightwing:

I'm not saying all circus kids know each other, but these two do. Dick's circus was doing a tour of Europe and met Kurt's circus and they traveled together for a while. Dick and Kurt bonded and became pen pals. Kurt's circus was in America when the Grayson's took their infamous dive and he comforted Dick afterward. He also teleported Dick into the trunk of the Batmobile and Bruce didn't find out until he got to the Cave. That's the real reason Dick became Robin. Batman and Robin were in Europe for a mission and Dick went to see Kurt's circus. He saw his friend was all drugged up and staged a rescue. Thus began the long standing tradition of Batman dropping mutant's off at Xavier's. Dick and Kurt still write. Two blue boys who spread happiness and joy and are freaking terrified when ticked.

Team Mystery Kids:

After the events of Steven universe future during his time traveling around he visits gravity falls and takes a summer job working at the mystery shack. Mabel thinks he's cool and dipper thinks he's a mystery he needs to solve. Steven is vibing. Okay so like…I’ll be honest I’m probably misremembering a lot of this but I think of it fondly from the Gravity Falls era. (And honestly this also probs breaks the number of characters rule but…hear me out here) I just love the concept of all these kids from the children’s horror media meeting up and being friends and like…a lot of them were my blorbos growing up. I’m bad at infodumping tbh but it’s just fun to think about :)

Basically I was like "yknow who Lancer reminds me of. Bowser Jr" and then realized that Bowser would TOTALLY emotionally adopt Lancer after learning Spade King is a sucky dad. Anyway Lance and Jr love going around causing problems together, Jr gets to try out Lance's bike and Lance gets a ride in the Koopa Clown car. They (and sometimes Susie) like to prank Mario and friends a lot and I just think they would be such good friends

Ventus and Hunter:

I see them meeting each other post-KH3! Ven would visit the Boiling Isles world during one of his travels, and he’d meet Hunter sometime around season 2 of The Owl House. Since Hunter is still working for Belos at the time, their relationship with each other starts off rocky and it'd take some time for their friendship to develop. However, at some point after Hollow Mind, once they understand each other more, they start to relate to each other in certain ways, and soon enough, they become pretty great friends! Also, with Hunter being a big fan of wolves, and with Ven being a comfort character of mine whom I've projected myself on to quite a bit, it has given me an excuse to be extremely self-indulgent as possible, and I headcanon them both being autistic and also them having tons of OCs and such that they talk about with each other!

Propaganda for the combined team; Church would probably hate it; just another group of people to annoy him. Kris and L would probably be neutral/indifferent, and Sonia would definitely be happy about it, encouraging them all to do their best to achieve victory together~! She also knows a little more about serial killers than any of them expected, except for maybe L who knows that was probably one of the reasons why they were paired up together as friends. Kris would think that's kinda neat, Church is still just there but also at least this group is semi-intelligent. Unlike SOME other people back at Blood Gulch (and then he gets a little sad about missing his boys, but shh don't tell) Maybe this is what Church was doing for the year between five and six…

Team Adoption Wins:

As for team lore, their origins remain the same. However, when Bert and Ernie were going to adopt Meg, there was a bit of a legal kerfuffle. A Muppet had never adopted a human child before. Dick heard about it on the news, and knowing firsthand a thing or two about unconventional families, got his dad Bruce to pay for Bert and Ernie’s legal fees. However, there were some concerns that Bert, Ernie, and Meg might be in some danger. So Nightwing and Drift showed up to make sure things stayed safe. However Sesame Street, being bright and sunny and very clean, is very hard to hide in. And Muppets do not run on normal rules. So ofc Drift and Nightwing were spotted and greeted by the entire neighborhood. They had a fun time as the legal case wrapped itself up. It was a brief but wonderful friendship the five shared. Dick and Drift will always think fondly of their time on Sesame Street. Bert has started feeding robins as well as pigeons. Ernie has a picture of giving Drift a carwash with Rubber Duckie on his hood. Nightwing gave Meg some great advice on how to win friends and influence people and be themself. The children of the world will never forget the day when Sesame Street featured a giant alien robot telling them not to do drugs and Nightwing telling them the “Word on the Street” was vigilante.

Brett Hand and Susie:

Once Billy is has healed after the riot, Grumpy takes him with him on a friendship mission to [whatever town boyd and penny would spend most of their time in in DTLS i dont remember please fill in this blank for me <3 ][emcee note: Duckburg more likely. The Cities is just as weird but its weird is more insular and tends to be connected to Ozma and Salem's divorce proceedings more often than not.]. Billy gets the opportunity to explore a town with his best friend, and then they run into Boyd and Penny and then they're all friends! :D Maybe Grumpy gets them all ice cream so they have a snack while they talk and meet and Boyd and Penny can show them around, and they can all learn about each others worlds! Maybe they can all work on friendship missions together too, because helping people rocks

Bill and Kokichi:

So here me out; both characters are known for being massive liars, while also having plenty more layers to them if you manage to break past all the lies. I might not think about Kokichi as much as Bill, but the concept of guys who hide themselves behind layers and layers of lies is SO fascinating. Sure they would be friends because they're both horrid little gremlins who love to act as the big man in control, but that's really all it is; an act. How many of those layers would be rendered useless when placed up against someone who has also mastered the act of building a wall of lies to hide behind? How many more walls of lies would they try to put up to out-lie the other? Or would they actually start tearing them down when confronted with someone exactly like them? Who's to say, but a friendship between two people like that is certainly an interesting one. Plus they're two little gremlins who would absolutely use the fact that everyone sees them as nothing but horrid little liars to really have fun messing with people. They'd just be conversing about absolute bullshit and anyone nearby would just be listening like "What are you two FUCKING TALKING about???🤨" IDK I just think they're silly and neat and their dynamic would be very fun :3

Madoka and Sakura:

They are rather similar i think in the way they are cinnamon rolls who are also very powerful. They just happen to exist in very different worlds, Madoka's world means suffering for magical girls and in Sakura's world everyone is a good person and she can safely be a magical girl (because it's a manga for young girls 👍)

Han Solo and Peter Quill

Peter thinks he and Han are rivals. They're both space pirates, after all. Known for their charming wit, their epic good looks, their way with women. And now they've both saved the galaxy from evil jerks. Peter has put a lot of thought into this rivalry and how to best Han. Han literally has no clue who Peter is. Never heard of him. He does know Rocket and Groot though. They've worked together a couple of times.

listen. leonard church is kris deltarune’s older brother. okay. They Are. they are both… blue. kris… kris has an older brother who is super successful and it makes them feel inferior so what if their brother was super cringe fail? What If Kris was the Cool Sibling. i think they deserve this. and church is. y’know. there’s this one rvb short where he gets down on a Brotherly Knee to give a child terrible dating advice but he did it from the HEART so. so. he can have brotherly vibes?

Sonia and L:

how does the princess with a hyperfixation on serial killers and the best detective in the world who is obsessively trying to find the world's biggest serial killer best friends? they just are. they both have a hyperfixation on serial killers in a way and have such opposite dynamic that would mesh perfectly. they are also both ~quirky~ and socialize in a noticeably different way than their peers for one reason or another.

A few quick rules, since this is going to be our pinned post for the bulk of the competition!

Propaganda is allowed and encouraged! PLEASE tell me and everyone else about your cool crossover and why it's the coolest crossover and should win!

That said, please be respectful. Whatever your feeling about the media in question, these crossovers mean something to the people who submitted them! When you submit your propaganda, bear that in mind: would YOU want someone to come along and shit on YOUR cool crossover?

Ties will advance as a team! This is because I think it would be very funny to end up with a bunch of huge mass crossovers. Do with this information what you will.

I'm not going to be completely impartial, but I will at least maintain a level of grace around my favoritism. I put a limit to the number but several of these crossovers are from a project that Ship and I have been working on for right at three years now, and I'm not going to pretend I don't have feelings about those. I'll let y'all know how cool my crossovers are, but I'll still be a gracious loser when they inevitably get knocked out. I've had plenty of time to make peace with their loss.

If at any point you feel yourself getting het up over a silly tumblr poll, please remove yourself from the situation instead of making that my problem.
