they are two grown men playing video games BADLY on the internet for a DECADE. they're best friends and they make each other better but also dumber. for ten years Arin has been sucking spectacularly at video games and Dan has only ever encouraged and expanded on his shenanigans.

there's this one vid on mark's channel where he, ethan, and this guy named tyler have a gingerbread house contest. Tyler makes an actually decent gingerbread house while mark and ethan fail to have theirs stand up. So they work together and somehow end up with a gingerbread house that is COMPLETELY CRUSHED. they manage to just add a lump of frosting and some sprinkles and are like "it's like chips and dip!!!" and then when the judges come over, they take turns explaining it, word by word, and say something like "our gingerbread house is better than tyler's because it's made with love" and then they hug. they end up tying with tyler somehow. i can also talk about the one high-production youtube channel they made but i feel that this drives the point better.

Hello and welcome to the US Southwest/Mexican Northwest Pottery Bracket!

Or, the "Greater Southwest," if you're writing from a USAmerican perspective, which I am.

The Greater Southwest was and is a vibrant, multicultural place, with a long history of settlement, movement, interaction, art, philosophy, and cultural exchange. And it's the home of some of the most striking and beautiful pottery in the world. No, I'm not biased.

The Greater Southwest has great, workable, colorful clays, and a hot dry environment that makes artifacts preserve well over the centuries. So there are a LOT of examples of pottery, from its initial use in this region 3000-some years ago to the modern art form made today.

I'm @specialagentartemis and I'm an archaeology PhD student studying Southwestern pottery. This is my excuse to ramble about my topic of study and interest, and share a little bit about it with the world. And make it fun. I'll present the pottery... and YOU vote on it! Based on how pretty it is, or how interesting, or if it was made by your tribe, or whatever other criteria you like. This isn't voting on the objective best pottery, just tumblr's favorite.

In the spreadsheet I'm working with for my research assistanceship doing ceramic data analysis, there are 1,352 different pottery types listed. That is So Many. I will not be having you vote on every single one. I've pulled out 18 wares and types that I think exemplify Southwestern ceramic history across various times, places, styles, and cultures, from the AD 800s to the present day.

HOW THIS WILL WORK: between 10 slugcats, there are 44 viable pairings one could and likely has concocted. this blog will have them face off against each other to see who reigns supreme.

5 weeks of hard competition have shown us the top three of two branches; now in week 6 we will see who rises above as the true premium ship- Artisaint or Artihunter?

GOOD VIBES ONLY! there will be no discourse and no hurt feelings- it's just a good natured competition to see who wins a title on the internet, so don't take it too seriously. two pairs will be randomly placed against each other with a weeks time for votes to be cast, and the highest at the end of the week moves on to the next week. two lucky winner pairs on week one will be carried through week two to compete again in week three due to the number of pairings being nonideal.

as of week two, the formula has shifted slightly- losers of week one are given one second chance and will face against each other until week 5, where the #1 of both brackets, an overt winner and an underdog, will face off on week 6.

Family! Cousins! spookberry here on tumblr has a crossover au where Tucker and Clawdeen are cousins and it's a cute little dynamic and honestly just a cute little comic and crossover over all! I like how Clawdeen has some older sibling energy and looks out for Tucker but also totally teases him too. Tucker is a fish out of water going to a school for monsters for the first time but his fam has his back!

Nightcrawler and Nightwing:

I'm not saying all circus kids know each other, but these two do. Dick's circus was doing a tour of Europe and met Kurt's circus and they traveled together for a while. Dick and Kurt bonded and became pen pals. Kurt's circus was in America when the Grayson's took their infamous dive and he comforted Dick afterward. He also teleported Dick into the trunk of the Batmobile and Bruce didn't find out until he got to the Cave. That's the real reason Dick became Robin. Batman and Robin were in Europe for a mission and Dick went to see Kurt's circus. He saw his friend was all drugged up and staged a rescue. Thus began the long standing tradition of Batman dropping mutant's off at Xavier's. Dick and Kurt still write. Two blue boys who spread happiness and joy and are freaking terrified when ticked.
