A/N: After coming across this post, I was hit with a flashback on an older fic I wrote 3 years ago that I didn't post on here.

Well technically I did post it on my fanfic sideblog but tbh that place kinda ded so...

Anywhoooo!

Have this oldie but goodie. I still have that one unfinished draft I need to post; hope I'll get that one done soon... 🤞🏾

"O-ow!", I winced as I felt something pinching my ear. Except it wasn't a pinch. It was my mischievous boyfriend of mine nipping on my ear.

"You were sleeping again.", Tokiya teased as he pecked the spot that he bit.

"N-no, I was...meditating, that's all."

I had gotten my hair washed earlier and the next step was to blow dry my untamable mane before straightening it. With the new hairdryer brush I got, I'd be able to get both tasks done in no time. Thanks to some help from Tokiya, the process went by a little quicker.

"If you want to take a nap, you can. I will wake you up once I'm finished.", he explained as he brushed through another section of hair. Moisturized, of course.

"You know, you didn't really have to go through all of this trouble. I can't even do my hair at my age. Embarrassing, right?", I joked, hoping that he wouldn't hear over the blaring noise of the electrical brush. But I was wrong.

"Nonsense, my love. It's no trouble at all. Besides, I'm more than happy to help if it means I get to show off how beautiful my girlfriend is."

I soon winced. Not from the brush's heat- from Tokiya's sudden compliment drop.

"Once again, you're the worst.", I scoffed, ignoring his small chuckles at my flustered self as he continued brushing out my hair.

“Hanamori-san, are you finished? You’ve been in there for a while. Is everything all right?”, an anxious Tokiya called out from behind the bathroom door.

No, everything’s not all right.

As she gazed at her reflection in the mirror, Ayaka questioned whether it was too late to back down on this idea.

Last week, Ayaka fell extremely ill and took some time off work to recover. Tokiya was willing to sacrifice his work time to look after her. It really meant a lot to Ayaka to have her boyfriend by her side. 

Since she was feeling better, Ayaka wanted to show her appreciation to him. But she was having second thoughts on whether this was a good idea.

I look ridiculous. I shouldn’t even be wearing something like this. What will Tokiya think when he sees me?, Ayaka nervously rambled in her head.

“You’re starting to scare me. Please let me know if you’re not feeling well.”, Tokiya suddenly exclaimed as he lightly rapped on the door.

“N-no, I’m ok. I’ll be out in a second.”, Ayaka quickly responded before her boyfriend got into a panic attack. After taking a long, deep breath, she unlocked the door and slowly stepped out into the bedroom.

Tokiya’s relieved expression quickly morphed into one of shock once he saw Ayaka. Well, what she was wearing, that is.

He never would’ve expected to see Ayaka in a bunny suit of all things. It was a scarlet red, matching the lipstick she was currently wearing. 

“S-surprise.”, she cheekily whispered, timidly rubbing her arm. Seeing her demure expression made Tokiya smirked delightfully.

“A surprise indeed.”, he lightly chuckled, walking over to the hairstylist and lifted her into a princess carry. As he sat back down on the bed, he gazed up at a visibly embarrassed Ayaka who was now sitting on his lap.

“We meet again, little rabbit. You just can’t get enough of me, can you? Well then, I know what we can do now that you’re here.”

Tokiya then pulls her into a steamy kiss, causing waves of excitement to travel throughout Ayaka’s body. She didn’t hesitate and kissed back as their tongues swirled in each other’s mouths. 

“As much as I adore this outfit,” the idol pulled away and snarled as he glides his hand between Ayaka’s legs. “It’s getting in the way.”

That’s when she feels her suit being undone as her breasts suddenly sprung free from its tight grasp. Tokiya couldn’t help but lightly squeeze them, prompting Ayaka to softly moan.

After hoisting her into the bed, Tokiya fully removed the satin suit along with her sheer black pantyhose. Ayaka avoided his eyes as he admired her in the nude.

“I love seeing you like this.”, Tokiya whispered in Ayaka’s ear, tracing his warm hands along her bare skin. A flurry of moans slipped from her lips at the sensation.

As he gently cupped his lover’s breasts in light squeezes, Tokiya gazes up and noticed Ayaka’s lipstick smeared across her face.

“Haha, I think I have gone a bit overboard with the kiss.”, he chuckles, bringing a hand to her face to wipe off the red residue.

“You have some on your face too.”, Ayaka remarked, pouting in annoyance. 

“Do I? Well, I guess I must put it to use. Besides, this color suits you nicely.”

Ayaka didn’t quite understand what he meant by that. That was until her boyfriend started pressing his lips against her naked body, starting at her neck. Tokiya chuckles at her squeaks as he made his way downwards, leaving behind faint lipstick marks all the while.

The woman breathily moaned as the gentle kisses became more intense and needy. Tokiya continued moving down, peppering kisses across her breasts and stomach. As he lifted his head, Tokiya beamed at the sight of Ayaka’s seeping core.

“Oh my, look at wet you are. This might sound selfish, but, I’ve missed tasting you. Now that you’re better, I’m going to cherish every moment of this.”

“Don’t hold back then. I’ve missed your tongue so much.”, Ayaka announces, a lustful glaze in her eyes.

Tokiya hums delightfully as he gently spread his lover’s legs apart. He then begins to slowly lick at Ayaka’s entrance, her juices spread all over his tongue.

“Aah, how I’ve longed for your sweetness.”, he mutters before he continued.

As Tokiya’s tongue and mouth explored her entrance, Ayaka whimpered softly, reaching down to rub her clitoris. She grew wetter at all the sensations; Tokiya noticed this as he chuckled against her.

“Did you miss my fingers too?”, he breathlessly questions, raising his head up to kiss Ayaka’s fingertips.

“More than anything. Please, Tokiya.”, Ayaka shakily cooed, her free hand landing atop her breast.

“As you wish.”

He then gently rubbed a finger against her heat, soaking it with her wetness. Before inserting it, he looks up at the coral-haired woman, ensuring that she was comfortable. She shyly smiles and nods, giving her approval.

Tokiya then gently pushes it inside her, making Ayaka whine in pleasure.

“J-just like that...ah...yes...”, she cries out as the slow-paced pumping of his finger.

“Would you like another one?”, Tokiya asks with a small smirk.

“Y-yes. Oh yes! Lick m-my clit too p-please...”

He doesn’t hesitate to give in to her demands as a second finger dives into her hole. Ayaka’s pants grew louder once Tokiya’s tongue swirled at her clit. 

Before she can get ahold of the pillow to cover her mouth, Tokiya interjects-

Out of the blue, Ayaka rocks her hips against Tokiya’s hand. Startled at first, he then settled down and quickened the pace. His lover’s whimpers grew louder as his lips lightly sucked on her clit.

With every pump and lick, Ayaka could feel her climax approaching. She doesn’t want it to come so soon, but her body was telling her otherwise.

“It’s ok.”, Tokiya softly spoke, getting a sense of what was to come. “You’re allowed to make yourself feel good. So, go ahead and cum for me, my princess.”

Some final movements were enough to send shock waves throughout her body. Ayaka screamed out as she tightly gripped onto the bedsheets. As she came, Tokiya swiftly pulled out his fingers and carefully held onto her shaking body.

"Let me hold me, my love.”, Tokiya panted, crawling up next to her. Ayaka’s breathing slowed as her boyfriend cradled her in his arms. “Are you alright, sweetheart?”

“I am now.”, she whispered against Tokiya’s chest, his lips lightly pressing on her forehead. “D-did you enjoy it?”

“Very much. I can take that you did as well. Thank you for the lovely surprise, my little bunny.”

Ayaka’s heart pounded as she fiddled with her cuffs, almost forgetting about the whole ordeal with the bunny suit.

“Now I feel like I’m being selfish. I just wanted to thank you for all of your hard work, but-”

Before she could finish her deprecating statement, Tokiya shushed her, his now damp finger pressing against her mouth.

“You have every right to be selfish. There’s nothing wrong with what you did. You should let yourself feel good whenever you’d like. This what you’ve needed after not being well. Besides, I would’ve done the same if I were you.”, he declared, softly cupping her cheek.

His eyes lovingly stared back at hers as she took in what he said. She rests her head on Tokiya’s chest, his heart pounded in her ear.

“Thank you, Tokiya. For everything. I love you so much.”, Ayaka whispered while Tokiya played with her curly locks. She leaned in and brushed her lips against his. He kisses her back, cheeks tinted with red.

“I love you more, my one and only princess.”, Tokiya beamed as he pulled the blanket over. The couple held each other in their arms as they drifted off to sleep.

🎉 ZINE CONTRIBUTOR ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉

Thank you everyone for applying and waiting patiently while admins carefully combed through everyone’s applications. Emails have been sent out and confirmations received, we can now release our contributor list.

While we could only accept a small portion of applications, we’d like to encourage everyone who didn’t get accepted to not get disheartened! Each application was special and very much appreciated for this zine, and it’s unfortunate we couldn’t accept each one.

We did our best to include as many people as possible and extended our list of contributors. We currently have an amazing 52 contributors taking part in the Shining Live Zine! Our zine is comprised of 39 artists (18 page, 11 print, 7 chibi and 2 cover!) and 14 writers.

When we began this project we only intended to have approximately 37 contributors, but from the sheer number of applications it was decided to expand how many we could take on. New roles were created to include as many as possible; print and chibi artists were introduced!

Again, we’d like to thank everyone who applied and apologise to those who weren’t selected – we wish you luck in the next zine you apply for!

“It’s no trouble at all. Someone has to look after you, after all.”, he replied, calmly strolling beside me.

Why do I always feel the need to thank him? He’s been doing this for a few weeks now. I don’t know- I suppose it’s just the nice thing to do. C’mon, Crystal, get yourself together!

As we quietly headed en route to my apartment, I couldn’t help but reflect on everything that went on ever since I set foot in Japan.

I honestly don’t know how all of this even happened. I came to Shining Productions solely for work experience and to learn some Japanese too.

But nope! Here comes this beautiful hunk ruining all my plans! Falling in love at first sight was something I wasn’t expecting at all.

It would just be foolish of me to not say anything. Besides, who knows what could happen to me tomorrow? But what if he doesn’t feel the same way? Well, I guess there’s no harm in asking, right?

“H-hey, Tokiya. Can I ask you something?”, I mumbled as my heart began to thump in my chest.

“Of course, anytime.”

“W-well, is there anyone, you know, like? Anyone you’re interested in at the agency?”

I heard him chuckle before he answered, “Well, I like everyone. Why?”

“No, no! Not like that! I meant to ask...is there anyone you, like, have feelings for? Like, romantically?”

God, stop saying “like”! He’s going to catch on eventually if you keep that up.

As we continued our walk, I gazed up at Tokiya, his face almost as red as Otoya’s hair.

“W-what are you- I don’t know where you’re getting at, Crystal-san. Why would you ask me something like that?”, he gulped while he played with his hair.

“W-well, since we are friends, I figured we might as well tell each some of our secrets, right?”, I nervously chuckled, scratching my head anxiously.

The stroll continued in silence. Couldn’t say I was surprised- that was a daring question to ask. I kinda felt like I messed up, but I was proven wrong when he responded-

“Yes. There...there is someone I have feelings for.”

Oh. My. God! No, wait! Stop getting your hopes up! You don’t know what he’s going to say!

“O-oh! That’s-that’s interesting! So, who is it then?”, I stuttered, an awkward smile plastered on my face.

“Why don’t you take a guess?”, Tokiya smirked, a devious gleam in his eyes.

Damn it, he’s not going straight to the point! Guess I’ll just have to play along with him until he’s ready to say something...

“Is it Haruka? I honestly think you two would make a great couple. I mean, you’re always so nice to her and she looks so happy whenever you’re together.”, I fumbled, discreetly crossing my fingers in my hoodie pocket.

To my surprise, Tokiya shook his head.

“Nanami-san is beautiful, and I do admire her. But she’s not the one I’m thinking about.”, he replied as he adjusted his glasses.

I opened my mouth to speak but he stopped me before I could say anything-

“It’s not Shibuya-san either.”

Seeing my dumbfounded expression, Tokiya had the nerve to laugh while my brain was a fuddled mess.

Once we finally reached my apartment, I thanked Tokiya once more for accompanying me as I pulled out my keys from my bag.

“Crystal-san wait!”, he suddenly spoke out loud. Startled, I looked up at him, the redness returning to his cheeks.

After taking in a deep breath, he continued with what he had to say.

“You’re right. Trust is important in a friendship and I can tell you’re a very reliable person. With that being said, I think I’m ready to tell you who I have feelings for.”

“Oh, really? Well, alright. Who is it?!”, I exclaimed in a little too enthusiastic tone. 

“I’ll whisper it in your ear.”

My heart started pounding as Tokiya leaned down next to me. He was close I could pick up the fading scent of his cologne. To my surprise, he hasn’t said anything.

“Umm, Tokiya. Aren’t you going to tell me who you-”, I began to ask before the unexpected happened next.

 In a matter of swift seconds, I felt his lips brush up against mine. I stood there motionless as I enveloped his warmth. 

As he slowly pulled away, I couldn’t help but hold my hand over mouth in shock. His eyes had a softness to them while he looked back at me. I don’t know what came over in that moment, but, I felt tears dripping down my cheeks.

“I-I’m so sorry. I just...I never actually thought about you feeling the same way. I wasn’t supposed to get so invested in you, but I did anyways. It doesn’t help that this is the first time I’ve ever felt this way about anyone.”, I choked, unable to control my sobbing any longer.

I felt Tokiya’s hands wrapped around me as I was suddenly pulled into a hug. Being his presence definitely helped to calm me down.

“If I may ask, how long have you been having feelings for me?”, Tokiya asked, as he gently twirled my twists around his fingers.

“Honestly? Since Day 1. I know it sound really ridiculous but-”

“Funny since I was going to say it was the same on my end.”

I felt myself freeze up for a few seconds before I timidly made eye contact with Tokiya. Good god, he has such gorgeous eyes.

“You...you mean that?”, I asked in a shaky voice. His sole response was a single nod.

“I knew from the first time I ever laid my eyes on you. I can’t exactly explain what made me fall for you. You could say it was just a little bit of everything.”, he continued, softly grinning.

His pale hand gently caressed my cheek, and I didn’t hesitate to hold it in mine. I couldn’t help but feel relieved for not bottling up my emotions until it was too late. Tokiya’s presence also felt calming and made all of my doubts lift off of my shoulders.

“As I much as I would like to stay, I’m afraid I have somewhere I need to be heading off to.”, Tokiya softly whispered in my ear before retracting his hand from my face.

Seeing my now disappointed expression, he gently clasped my hand in his and brought it to his lips. Heat rose to my cheeks as he lightly kissed my knuckles.

“Until then, I’ll be seeing you tomorrow, my princess.”

He then slowly withdrew our enclasped hands before heading back on the same route he traveled from. I stood in front of the door in bewilderment, gazing at Tokiya’s back as he strode away.

A bunch of questions flurried around in my head, despite the dazed expression on my face. However, one question stood out from all the rest:

Sweets Café

Ayaka couldn't help feeling like a little girl as she skipped around the cafe. Admiring all of the sweets only made her tempted to taste them all. But, it was kind of hard to pick one when she was too busy drooling at them.

"You should keep your mouth closed, Hanamori-san. I'd hate for you to swallow a fly.", Tokiya chuckled as he walked towards her, carrying a small box.

"Sorry, I'm just having trouble picking what treat I should try. They all look so good.", she giggled nervously before her eyes shifted over to the box.

"Ah, I figured you'd want to buy something, so, I went ahead and got something in advance. I do hope you like it."

Ayaka enthusiastically thanked him before taking the box. As she gently opened the box, a sweet aroma wafted through her nose. A wide smile dawned on her face as she gazed upon an elegantly-decorated cupcake.

"Wah, it's so cute. Itadakimasu.", she beamed before taking a generous bite into the sweet treat. Her eyes grew wide as she chewed on the moist and flavorful cake.

"Hehe, is it good?", Tokiya asked- Ayaka simply nodding as a response. Figuring that he might want to try a piece, she began to break off some. However, a sudden kiss made her freeze up.

"Mmm, it's delicious.", he purrs, slowly licking frosting off.

"You meanie!", the flustered hairstylist puffed up her cheeks as she turned away from the cheeky idol.

Ice Illusion Festival

"Tokiya, come skate with me!", Ayaka called out, grabbing onto the idol's arm excitedly. 

"Hehe, just a moment, Hanamori-san. I have to finish lacing up my skates.", Tokiya chuckles at her enthusiasm.

Ayaka was quite excited to go ice skating at the Ice Illusion Festival. Even if she's never skated before in her life. But nothing wrong with trying something for the first time, right?

"If you're worried about falling, hold my hand.", Tokiya called to her after gently stepping onto the ice. Ayaka shyly nodded as she clasped her hand in his. Tokiya then cautiously guided her onto the rink, taking his time as to not let her slip.

"I wonder if I'll be a great skater like Camus one day.", the hairstylist wondered, eyeing the blonde as he gracefully performed a triple Axel. The crowd around the rink erupted in applause at his dazzling performance.

"I think you'll need more practice before you can attempt moves like those. Now, shall we get started?"

Tokiya tightened the grip on Ayaka's hands as he instructed her. He made sure to not get too close to the other skaters. Which was quite difficult since many others also wanted to have fun skating.

"I think I'm getting the hang of-AH!"

Suddenly, an unknown skater bumped Ayaka in the shoulder, causing her to tumble over. Luckily, Tokiya caught her just in time before she could hit the ice.

"Hehe~ Looks like Prince Toki's saved the day. Aren't ya gonna reward him, Princess Ayaya?", Reiji chuckles from the sidelines, prompting Tokiya's face to flush.

"Kotobuki-san, that's enough. There's no need for any "reward". All I did was the right thing and-", Tokiya retorted Reiji's ridiculous statement. However, he stopped once he felt soft lips pressed against his cheek.

"Your reward, kind prince.", Ayaka timidly spoke, avoiding eye contact. Reiji cheered happily at the kiss as Tokiya's blush grew deeper.

As he took in a breath, Tokiya squeezed the hairstylist's waist and brought her closer to him. Ayaka wasn't sure what was going to happen once she glimpsed at that small smirk. Her heart pounded as he slowly leaned in close to her ear and whispered-

"Don't bump into anyone but me."

Romantic Café Date

"Do you have any idea how beautiful you are?"

Ayaka looked up to gaze at Tokiya, his chin resting on his hand. He smiled gently at the confused hairstylist; her face was covered in cookie crumbs and foamed milk.

"M-me? Beautiful? But, I look such a mess right now.", she timidly looked away as she wiped her face with a napkin.

"Nonsense, my dear. You're absolutely stunning."

She quickly averted her eyes as she continued to snack on her cookies. Without looking up, Ayaka could still feel Tokiya's soft gaze on her.

"Your tea's going to get cold if you keep staring at me.", she coldly stated, sipping on her lavender milk tea.

"I'm sorry, honey. It's just so hard to focus when I'm so distracted.", Tokiya slyly whispered, causing Ayaka to almost spit out her drink.

"What's with all of the compliments?!"

"Just showering you with love is all. What's wrong with that, ohime-sama?"

Ayaka made the mistake of looking up once more- since the idol winked at her. She humphed as she swallowed her remaining cookies. Goodness, what was she going to do with him?

Guitar Date

"Tokiya, what is all this?", Ayaka questioned, her mouth open in shock.

She wasn't sure what to expect for today's date. That Ichinose can be so hard to read- who knows what he could be cooking up? The only way to find out was to head out and see for herself.

The last thing that Ayaka was expecting to see was Tokiya with a guitar. She wasn't sure whether she should be surprised or not. Although his vocals are considered his best instrument, Tokiya could pretty much play anything. She does didn't think that today would be the day to witness it in person.

"Great, you figured out one of my weaknesses. A hot guitarist about to sweep the girl off of her feet with some cheesy love song.", the hairstylist scoffed, prompting a chuckle from the idol.

"I know this is unexpected, but, I got inspired to write a new song. It would only be fair that my girlfriend got to be the first one to hear it.", Tokiya explained, a soft sparkle in his eyes.

Flustered, Ayaka scratched the back of her neck and asked, "Erm, couldn't you have asked to let Otoya play instead? I-It's just...the guitar's kind of his thing. N-not to say you're terrible at it-even though I've never heard you play-but I-"

Before she could finish, Tokiya lightly pressed his finger against Ayaka's lips.

"Just close your eyes and listen.", he gently whispered, guiding the woman to sit next to him on the couch. Noticing her hesitance, Tokiya lightly squeezed Ayaka's hand and nodded in affirmation.

Taking in a deep breath, Ayaka held her hand over her heart and gently shut her eyes. Besides, it couldn't hurt to try something new, right?

"This song's just for you, Ayaka.", Tokiya spoke once more in a hushed tone before he began to strum against the instrument's strings.

Winter Night Walk

Phew, what a long day! I’m so exhausted! Ayaka thought to herself, a long sigh escaping her mouth as she walked out of the Shining Productions building.

Ever since she got hired as a hairstylist for the entertainment company, days like today were expected. After doing so much work, all Ayaka wanted to do was head on home and jump right into bed.

As she began to walk away from the door slowly, Ayaka couldn’t help but look up and take notice of the moon, brightly shining down on the streets.

The moon sure is beautiful tonight. Sometimes, I can’t help but admire its beauty…

Little did Ayaka know was that there was someone else who also was beginning to leave the building, admiring her beauty.  

“It’s such a wonder to see the moon glowing in the night sky, isn’t it?”, Tokiya chuckled, tossing a wool scarf around his neck.  

“Gah! T-Tokiya, don’t sneak up on me like that!”, Ayaka suddenly jumped, clutching her chest in shock.  

“Sorry, I didn’t intend to startle you. I couldn’t help but notice you looked so enamored.”

“Well, how can you not be mesmerized by such an incredible sight?”  

The hairstylist then turned her attention back to the moon while the idol kept his focus on the coral-haired girl standing next to him, the silvery moonlight gently shining down on her brown skin.  

It felt as if all the admiring would go on forever- not until a harsh gust of cold wind brushed by the duo.  

“Brrr! I forgot how freezing it is. I’d love to stay and chat some more, Tokiya, but I should head home before I turn into an ice sculpture.”, Ayaka snapped out of her daydream and began to walk away from the company building.  

However, Tokiya stopped her in her tracks by saying-  

“Hang on a moment. Allow me to walk you home. It’s dark out now, and I wouldn’t want you getting harmed.”  

“T-that’s quite alright, Tokiya. I-I wouldn’t want to burden you. B-Besides, you have to get home too and-”  

“Hanamori-san.” Tokiya suddenly exclaimed in his serious tone, causing Ayaka to stop talking mid-sentence.  

Tokiya then stepped closer to Ayaka and rested his hands on her shoulders, her cheeks beginning to burn a bright red.  

“Don’t call yourself a burden-you’re not, and you never will be. I don’t want you to ever think such negative things about yourself like that.”  

Ayaka then timidly looked up at Tokiya, gazing into his rich cobalt blue eyes as they began to sparkle with a warm light.  

“I’m doing this because I care about you. I always have-don’t forget that.”  

The hairstylist then began to look down and nervously twiddle with her hands as she began to reconsider her decision. Tokiya sounded very sincere when he offered to take Ayaka home.    It also wasn’t a secret that he was quite protective of her, due to him always looking out for trouble.  

As Ayaka was processing her thoughts, Tokiya extended his gloved hand, a gentle smile spread across his face.  

“Shall we go?”  

Besides, it wouldn’t hurt to take a nice, long walk home with…a coworker.  

“Sure.”, Ayaka finally agreed, gently clasping his hand with hers.  

As the twosome began the long stroll, Ayaka couldn’t help but admire Tokiya’s handsome face as the light of the moon illuminated him.  

I can’t believe I almost turned this down. What a stupid decision that would’ve been! I wouldn’t mind this doing this again if it meant that I could admire him all day.  

“I guess it’s even more of a wonder enjoying the presence of the moon with someone else by your side, isn’t it?”, Ayaka cheered, joyfully giggling as she lightly squeezed her partner’s hand.  

With a light chuckle, Tokiya returned the squeeze and replied, “Yes, it sure is.”
