Hello everyone! I was thinking that today I'd list off a few of the offered modules by the Interdisciplinary Studies Center! There are more modules than the few I'm listing which you can check on the University of Essex website (I'll include a link at the end), but the ones mentioned here are what I personally recommend from my own experience and friend recommendations. Given the department offering them, perhaps you've already guessed, but all of the modules offered cover various facets of the theme they are approaching, most of the time doing so by having teachers from various departments coming to teach particular lectures. Lectures which then are discussed and elaborated on during seminars. Depending on your preferred way of learning this might make things more interesting or more difficult. Personally, I really enjoyed having all sorts of different teachers from all sorts of departments and with all kinds of themes concentrating on a particular topic, but some of you might prefer just having one constant teacher. Depending on the case, make sure to choose what is best for you though I full-heartedly recommend these interdisciplinary modules and will include links so you can have a look at the full description if any of the titles managed to pique your curiosity. Without further ado, here's my little list of recommendations for now: - CS101-4-FY – The Enlightenment - CS102-4-FY – Europe: Myth and Idea - CS220-4-FY-CO – Navigating The Digital World - CS201-5-FY – The World in Question: The Social, Political and Psychological Legacies of the Enlightenment - CS301-6-FY – Dangerous Ideas: Essays and Manifestos as Social Criticism Link to the undergraduate modules offered by the Interdisciplinary Studies Center: http://www.essex.ac.uk/modules/modules.aspx?department=CS&filter=UG&year=17&campus=&level= (Romanian) O mica lista de module recomandate de mine de la Centrul pentru Studii Interdisciplinare! - CS101-4-FY – The Enlightenment - CS102-4-FY – Europe: Myth and Idea - CS220-4-FY-CO – Navigating The Digital World - CS201-5-FY – The World in Question: The Social, Political and Psychological Legacies of the Enlightenment - CS301-6-FY – Dangerous Ideas: Essays and Manifestos as Social Criticism Link pentru modulele oferite de ISC: http://www.essex.ac.uk/modules/modules.aspx?department=CS&filter=UG&year=17&campus=&level=
