My husband & I have been together for 16 years. 4 years ago we decided to spice things up & try "The Lifestyle!" We opened up our marriage but it took us a year & half to do anything with others. We had a long checklist qualifications that our swapped partners needed to have. Based on our needs & wants NOBODY was ever good enough for my husband or for me. So we missed out on SO MANY friendships & play opportunities. We wasted lots of time. We look back & feel silly that we didn't take advantage of fun dates that were offered to us. It wasn't until we eliminated the impossible checklist of qualifications from partners that we became open to meeting new people. We didn't know how to correctly play in the lifestyle. We were looking for a 100% 4 Way Connection with couples. Kinda like a Polyamorous situation. Pretty impossible. Just look at the struggles your single friends have looking for just one person. Imagine trying to find awesome qualities in a couple. Pretty tough. Here's what we should've been looking for: ✅ 4-WAY COMPATIBILITY with new friends that we can tolerate for 90 minutes at a time. That's how long swaps typically last. If you hit it off & you can tolerate them for 4 hours... that's even better. Wanting perfection from the start was our big mistake. Online profiles are terrible. Uploaded pics are bad. So you're making a decision without a true representation of who they really are. You have to give people a chance to shine in person. People grow on you friendships develop over time. Learn from that. We started our podcast to help you avoid typical rookie mistakes. My name is Isis & Eros a married couple from Los Angeles.
