Finished reading worm about a decade after it came out. I come onto tumblr and the first thing I’m met with is the Amy Dallon cube.

Seven of nine

The Moxes are original art by Dan Frazier drawn on the back of some foreign language Swamp proofs. The Time Walk is original art by Amy Weber on one of those pro tour deck blanks from the late 90′s. Similarly, the Black Lotus is also on a pro tour deck blank, but the art is by Sierra Rush, daughter of the late Chistopher Rush. She was kind enough to add text, stamp it with her dad’s signature, and also sign it herself at my request when I bought it.

I don’t think I could love these any more if they were graded Alpha versions. I just need an Ancestral Recall and Timetwister to complete the set.

in this universe, ardent embodies amy's passion and burning anger! she's a real feisty gal. (and she REALLY hates that she keeps losing in the wisp races to alabaster.) blister, on the other hand, is pretty level-headed. he takes his responsibilities to the hearth seriously, and is more "rock" than lava, if we're still thinking in terms of a volcano.

their wisps are blue cube and black bomb, respectively. ardent's cube wisp is named piko piko, and when combined with her wispon, it becomes a hammer! blister's bomb wisp originally didn't have a name, but ardent convinced him to give it a name after much pestering. at her suggestion, its name is bom bom lol.

oh, and one more thing about the world! it's not split in half for no reason. in this timeline, the unleashed event still happened. however, it wasn't because of eggman waking up dark gaia early (since eggman doesn't exist in this world). it was simply Time for it to happen. so it did. and now, the planet is fragmented. it's a good thing everyone has a wisp to help them get around, huh?

how do you feel about when people append "Snapcube" as a middle or last name when they mention you? I've been doing it for clarity's sake because "Penny Parker" is many people, and just "Penny" is even more people, but "Penny Snapcube", "Penny Snapcube Parker" or "Penny Parker of Snapcube" is specific. But I can also see that being kinda Uncomfortable. Kind of like, a title that isn't Your Name. I think I'd feel a little weird if I was "Amy Washipink", so I figured it was a question worth asking.

it is fully okay to call me Penny SnapCube or even just SnapCube haha, my response last night about preferring when people call me by name and not random other shit i didn’t ask to be called DOES include usernames/handles in the “stuff i asked to be called” category implicitly. i’m not trying to police people lol, you really don’t have to stress yall do you. i just try to keep a very reinforced boundary up when it comes to strangers manipulating my identity on my behalf in ways that make me uncomfortable. especially if they like APPROACH me boasting about how funny its gonna be that they’re doing it. if that person had just on their own decided with their friends that they were gonna call me The Cube and did so privately then i would have no idea it’s happening and thus no desire to push back, but the moment you tell ME about it i have to be honest and be like hey! don’t call me that! i don’t like that! and that’s all there is to it really.
