Sainz had normal brake temperature issues from following a car in dirty air. Leclerc had a 100 degree imbalance between the right front and left front brakes, making it almost impossible to turn the car.

His pathological need to make it falsely seem like he had the same problems as Charles when he clearly did not says a lot about his character.

My last post before I actually go sleep before someone else comes and yells at me is that cuntos cuntz is the worst fucking person ever and that he is so selfish and has no sense of teamwork whatsoever and therefore i hope he ends up in the gravel every single race so Ferrari are forced to prioritize charles and also that Ferrari are nowhere near the WCC this year so they get their dang priorities in order because they are being so fucking stupid when charles has been ahead of Carlos every. single. race. And also i hope that Charles wins the wdc because he has more talent in his little pinky than cuntoz does in his entire body so he is the only one in that moronic team that deserves anything and everyone else can fucking rot in hell, starting with Mattia fucking binotto.

You have made me deranged enough to write not 1 but 2 essays in your askbox in the span of 3 days.

Here we go.

First, let's talk about Lando because. Of course.

I am so sorry to all the Lando stans ( i like the man too ok) but he is just such an easy punching bag. He's a pretty immature lil rich boy and he's hella cringe. None of these are what he get's punching baggified for though. He's also so so so open with his affection. He is gone for Carlos ( and now Daniel. yes. he is.) and he's so open with it. He's shouting it from the rooftops, always talking about Carlos and the good old days and how they're still close and making inside jokes. And well. You see him and Lando yes, and then you see Carlos and Charles. And well. the fic writes itself. you wrote it.

But lets come back to Lando. because to me, he is still stuck in 2020, and Carlos and He are CarlosandLando (one of my absolute favourite writing devices i think i use it far too much but just. great use of it) and they always will be, nothing will change. He is still so young and immature, still certain that his future is set and decided. poor baby. And I do think there is some element of the unreliable narrator playing into this. Lando is so convinced, or trying so hard to convince himself, that maybe we're seeing Carlos as better than he is and Charles as worse than and Charlos as more than.

Ok Carlos. Since you're being mean, I shall be mean too. I think Carlos knows exactly what he's doing with Lando. I think he's less sure of Charles, but that just excites him more. If he can win Charles and keep him, he will. But if he doesn't, he wants to have a backup plan. Someone who loves him unconditionally, wholly and trusts him deeply . So Lando. And so he keeps him close, but not too close. He can't risk him fucking it up with Charles either. And he prefers Charles more nowadays. But Carlos always has a plan, is always prepared, so he doesn't let Lando loose completely. Still keeps him hanging on to hope. This Carlos is selfish in the worst way and i adore him.

Charles. Oh charles. I feel like i don't have much more to add than this - I love hissing spitting preening self-satisfied cat Charles. He has picked Carlos and he will have him. And he wants Lando to know that he beat him. Charles has to win at everything.

Also just to address the whole "Carlos wouldn't lie to him" aspect. Carlos has this whole personality of being silly funny goofy. The down to earth straightforward honest dude. But he's the child of a celebrity. He was born around PR he's been doing it his whole life. And he's a cunt. He absolutely could and would lie if it benefited him. Except he will never lie outright. Just say the right things and hide the rest. I love cuntos cuntz with my whole heart. He's a massive dick.

Also I love the small touches of realism. They're racers first and foremost, Carlos 100% would break up with someone if he felt they were distracting him.

Ok this essay was far more incoherent than the previous one, I apologise. But I said what needed to be said! (And I'd like to save some writing juice for the fic i should be doing right now help).

Charles just doesn't rate Carlos at all. It's so funny. I remember that Ferrari challenge where it was mentioned sainz was better at sports and charles just goes yes, except for racing. I would have died on the spot!

Genuinely one of the most poignantly true videos to ever exist on the internet:

I must say, the funniest thing about the Sainz camp and their endless media mind games - from lying in interviews pretending he had the same brake problems as Charles, to his parents and friends endlessly slandering Charles in social media - and on top of that, no matter how much a bunch of incompetent journalists big up his performance when what he did in Bahrain was literally the BARE minimum - so yeah, after all of that, the funniest thing is that Charles just can't be bothered with that man. Like - AT. ALL.

It's legit hilarious just how much Sainz doesn't even register on his brain. Charles straight up can't be bothered to give a fuck about him.

Take post-race in Bahrain, for example, both Charles and Vasseur felt they did not show their car's full potential (like helloooo, one of your cars was perfectly functional while driving a full race distance). To them, it's like if Charles didn't get an opportunity to show the true pace of the car, then the true pace was never shown. All Charles cares about is developing the car to catch up to Red Bull. Even today, he's thinking about Max and where he is relative to Max. Sainz and his party of yes men and the brainless media are all over the place doing the PR equivalent of waving neon flags and blasting foghorns, and still - Charles just doesn't even register him. I mean they had to straight up ask Charles a direct question to force him to even dispute Sainz's lies (Sainz claimed they had the 'same' issue with brakes overheating in dirty air, which wildly inaccurate).

Don't get me wrong. Charles is friendly and professional and is always keen to give credit and praise to Carlos, but he genuinely just doesn't rate him at all. That's just simply not the bar that Charles cares to compare himself to. That bar is so, so much higher.
