having thoughts re: music collecting in that. since cds are making a comeback right now. i have plenty of original cds but i havent seen the practice of burning your own cds come back in that same way. i have plenty of mp3s i dont have the cd for and havent really considered burning them because i want the actual printed cd and ive kind of seen the same from others. i dont think its any moral issue, collecting the jewel cases is part of the fun but its interesting that one hallmark of the cd era came back but the much more common on (in my memory anyway) did not

#i do think there is an aspect of. its about the collection not the music that may be part of it. but who am i to pass judgement #i also want lyric booklets #that being said i have burned cds with no official cd release #curse mp3/vinyl only releases. i want physical copies and im not made of money #my stuff #also 90% of my nom cd mp3s were pirated in the classic 2000s fashion
