Here is a mural for the Colorado Ballet Society that I was able to finish just in time before CO got it’s ‘safe -at-home’ orders. I’m very grateful for @coloradoballetsociety ( https://www.danceinthesprings.com ) giving me the opportunity to create this mural for their students and families. I have so much admiration for the practitioners of ballet-a beautiful and challenging art form. For the past few weeks from when I first began, I saw a lot of changes in our country via the news headlines that I’d catch on my phone. The building was empty due to social distancing (with the exception of some staff creating instructional videos.) Having this section of the building to myself, this mural scene was kind of a nice place for me to retreat to while the headlines were going all over the place. All the best to those in the front lines on this and those who are suffering with it.
