Here is an example of some of the e-decorating work I do. This client in Florida wanted something with the pictures she already had of the little boy and girl at the beach hanging over the trundle bed. I suggested creating a wallscape by enlarging the arrangement both in width and height. My customer liked that idea so I came up with a pretty assortment of transferware plates, each with some type of water motif in keeping with the art and pillows already in the room, to go over the pictures and lengthened the arrangement by adding shell shaped #Limoges dishes over a gorgeous pair of left and right facing swagged brackets. A large transferware water pitcher, also with a sailing theme, filled with white hydrangeas was added to the side table. I think these small touches added so much to the room and the client loves it. Happy to be working with this sweet Floridian client again this Summer. Last year I designed a few vignettes and wallscapes in her kitchen, breakfast room and guest bedroom. Im off to bed but leaving you all with a wallscape I did at the entry in our last house. Every piece of transferware is Spode, hence my inclusion of the following poem: That pitcher there, with quaint device, Upon the shelf, a curious bit, I know it is a thing of price Because I paid for it.
