His sleep had been dreamless if nothing else, and as consciousness slowly dawned on him, he was intensely grateful for it. The previous days events left him semi confused and more than a little concerned about how he got in bed when he was pretty sure he’d fallen asleep on the floor.

Okay, well more like cried himself to sleep. In his defense, it had been a rough two months.

At least he wasn’t crazy or developing paranoid schizophrenia though, so that was a load off his shoulders. On the other hand...he wasn’t crazy. Which meant that there was actually someone living in his house. Uninvited. Someone who’d watched him shower, seen him dance around to the kitchen to Katy Perry and who’d been moving his things around.

“Crapola.” He murmured tiredly, swallowing tiredly. His mouth felt like sandpaper and his eyes were sore. How long had he even been asleep for? Both hands moved up to rub at his eyes and he groaned as his head pounded. Dehydration. He was dehydrated. He needed some water sooner rather than later.

With no other excuse than to avoid the situation in general, he pushed the blankets off and forced himself up, heading straight for the kitchen for a glass of water. And if he was hoping that the last two months were all just a bad dream, well, that was his business.
