how do you feel about marijuana usage? specifically regarding your children? for no reason.

No reason, of course.

Originally when I was looking to answer this question, I began answering it with my opinions on antiquated laws rooted in bigotry and corruption, and my various feelings on decriminalization of addiction, and an acknowledgment that my own experiences with drugs has been from a privileged position in society...

However, this is not a question about marijuana usage in general. This is about my kids.

I am much more worried about my children being poisoned with fear toxin. I have priorities. No non-prescriptive use before you're of age, after that, I trust you.

I've never tried pot before but mostly because I'd want to be in a really safe space in case it turns out I'm the paranoid type and haven't ever really found the right combination of person/place. If dealer!Lucien (or halcyon!Dieter 😍) were offering, I think I might feel comfortable enough to give it a go 👀 hehe

Re: Lucien's pipe collection, though, I have a somewhat amusing story for you:

Back in the day when tumblr for teenage me was mostly focused on crafting an artsy blog ✨aesthetic✨ (lol) and mutuals were high school friends doing the same, one of those friends reblogged a very pretty looking blown glass object and said something along the lines of "oh, this piece is beautiful i wish i could afford something like it." Knowing very little about weed and related vernacular, the next day at lunch I asked her about what kind of a piece of jewelry it was and she very kindly explained to me it was a pipe. 😹 I guess one has to learn about paraphernalia terminology somehow...

Sweet young M not knowing yet oh my goodness lol I was the exact same way when my best friends took me to my first smoke shop too!! They had to tell me all the terminology like a bad cram study session and yet I still went in saying “what the hell are these?? are those BONGS?!” and I got shushed so loud so truly that unknowing innocence can be so silly sometimes lol 🪴

Oh update on the post-op meds: Valium did fuck all for me. Worst pain of my entire life, couldn’t fall asleep bc of it, and the fucking sleeping pill didn’t work! why wouldn’t they just give you pain meds instead?? I ended up having an edible which did not help with the pain but predictably made me crash. Thank fuck I live in California.
