Does Marcus have training from Fox and Krystal to use staves? Or does he prefer other weapons?

Not from Fox, but more likely from Krystal when he was still a child. And yet, Marcus didn’t exactly follow down his mother’s path in using at full mastery. You see, Marcus had a lot to focus on and in a way, Fox would have preferred his son to be a normal child in Lylat than having to follow his legacy. Krystal respected that and thought the same. So stave training was mostly exercise than militaristic.

Marcus has talents for it but it was never fully developed. He focused on other fighting forms when he attended the Papetoon Flight Academy.

I have decided to make a spicy chapter-filled story about a Hooters AU since it came to me in a dream. However, I wasn't the only one who thought of this. So, here is the Work In Progress (WIP) of what me and some good fellow friends of mine have came up with. I like to thank my fellow dude bros for having my sona and theirs become the ultimate Hooter Servers in a Hooters in Zootopia and also to thank a couple of others who I am glad to have their sona's be in this wonderfully blessed story. You know, about the “rats eat mice” thing, there was something I noticed. Only things she feared getting eaten by were Dragon and the great Owl. When that same fear should have applied to Jeremy and Auntie Shrew, as well as Justin. Basically, it sucks being at the bottom of the food chain.

Though maybe that’s another reason the rats held Johnathan and Ages so highly; helped them escape despite this fact of nature.

Yea, crows are also known to hunt small animals so she definitely wouldn’t have gone close... or it had something to do with Jeremy’s personality being friendly. There seems to be some animation logic which animals can create a peaceful community and which not. Mrs. Brisby sounded quite concerned mentioning she doesn’t know any rats... she doesn’t fear Justin, but the moment she sees Jenner she is hiding behind Justin. 

Rats can live a happy life with plant based diet but are capable to hunt and kill smaller animals ( you can play chase game with fancy rats too! it's fun ). I thought as such super intelligent species, the Rats of NIMH became more aware of concepts of ‘right and ‘wrong’ - what consequences actions can cause and their debt to Jonathan and mister Ages to give up their primordial hunting instincts.

YEAH PRETTY MUCH??? I feel like that would sting way more than being egged into chasing Pigma forever. Which is something very telling of Fox McCloud in general. During most games, whenever Andross, Wolf or Pigma would taunt either Fox or Peppy about James, Fox just shrugs it off like it’s beneath him with no comment. It shows how much confidence he does have in himself and respect he has towards his father. Peppy is the one getting butthurt instead but then again, Peppy was there when it happened.

Since you mentioned that Falco and Lucy get together in your AU, how does offspring from different species work? Would it solely be the same as one parent or the other, or are hybrids a possibility?

Okay so this is a good question and it’s one I have thought about for a while since last year.

For me, Lylatians are all able to have kids with each other regardless of their species/breeds. They share compatible DNAs. However, that still doesn’t mean that there isn’t a level of side-eyeing when, let’s say, a canine decides to marry an equine or a reptile. So crossbreeding between species isn’t very common. And that’s also shown in the series itself since:

Peppy marries Vivian who is also a rabbit.

James marries Vixy who is also a fox.

Fox’s main love interests, Fara and Krystal, are both a type of vulpine like him.

Slippy ends up marrying Amanda who is also a frog.

It’s implied in Farewell, Beloved Falco, that Katt ends up having a relationship with Kool who is also a cat.

Honestly, the only one that seems to entertain the idea of dating outside of his own species is Falco, as it is implied he had a relationship with Katt. So he is the odd one in the franchise as well as the one that would pursue a relationship outside of his own species. But I think we all know that.

Anyway, so I headcanon that it’s frowned upon when cross relationships like this do happen because of how hybrids work IRL: Ligers and mules are bred between two different species, but they offspring are sterile. In Lylat, the way it works is like this: Hybrids are necessarily sterile. But the more that bloodline mixes with others, there is a likelyhood that it will become a sterile bloodline. So that’s why it’s frowned upon and why I also headcanon that they keep track of what species are mixed with the genes of that particular Lylatian.

Now, as for what the offspring will look like: that is solely dependent on the mother. So Falco and Lucy have a child, the child will physically look like Lucy’s species instead with only a few minor hints that the baby is also 50% Avian. Such has having a few feathers hidden among the fur, or the colors of the fur might resemble the father’s.

Also, as for your question on Lucy’s genetics: yeah. They did affect her. Vivian’s disease is genetically passed on to each female, and Lucy did her best to regress it as she was very aware of it. Unfortunately, it actually came in aggressively because of her final home. She ends up living on Zoness and the atmosphere there isn’t exactly the healthiest at all and yeah...

Falco took the kids to Corneria where he knew the pollution was not at a high risk for Abigail. It also let’s her and Valentino stay closer to their grandfather.

A chance at another Avenue is often crucial to avoiding burnout. Also, loved the Demon weapons in Assault, just could never manage to unlock the sniper.

You right though?? And I really do not want to be overly burnt out on Star Fox at all because now that I rekindled my love for this series, I don’t want to lose it at all. But that doesn’t mean I can’t pick up others along the way and focus on them a little. ; v ;

Man I wished I had played more of the multiplayer in Star Fox Assault, I really enjoyed the different modes it had. My thing was that I really had no one to play against--small town, living out in the countryside. BAW.
