After the Dagger found out that their Captain can turn into a fluffy black cat, the frequency of appearance of that black fluff increased significantly. His gaggle of accidentally adopted children named him Salem to prevent any suspicions.

Ice: Hello there Salem, have you seen my handsome husband anywhere?

Mav: ICE

(Cyclone definitely noticed the fluffy creature but he said nothing, because he has a soft spot for adorable shits and that cat is certified adorable)

(Sol, I have a reputation to maintain! Stop spreading false information)

Every time he does not require to fly or just does not have the schedule for teaching, Mav would just be hanging around the base in his cat form. One of his favorite things to do is just sitting on stuff and people watching. On a random tool box, on wing of a jet, on the table in the guard box, on the roof (?) or in his beloved Ice arm when the man visited the base.

Whenever he sit tho, his front paws would be hanging in front of him and people love to just wiggle them. Let’s just say that, it’s quite addictive.

Mav: Are you guys done playing with my paws yet? Kids?

The daggers: NOPE

Mav sighing: Alright, 5 more minutes. I have a date with my husband and i believe he would appreciate if I get home one time.

The daggers: THANK YOU MAV

One of baby Goose favorite things to do is to shove his face into his uncle Mav’s fur, especially after Mav sunbathed because he would smell like the sun itself. Mav, of course also consider his godson’s hugs and smooches are the best things in his life (along side with flying)

Goose literally have hundreds of pictures of his son hugging his brother tightly and giving the man in his cat form kisses while he having the smuggest face a cat could have.

Years later when Rooster and Mav have already sorted out all of their shits with tons of communication and crying involved. To be fair, Mav should have know he should take this talk somewhere more private and not at the back of the Hard Deck, but not like he could ignore his son sadness, so he turned into his cat form and walked to Rooster.

Rooster basically planted his face onto Mav’s fur and slurring words because he is drunk af: your fur is still as soft as I used to remember dad, I glad we can do this again. I’ve missed you so much. I’m sorry.

Mav: your pops definitely takes a good care of me, baby goose, so you must thanks him for that. And i missed you, ice missed you and every one of us all missed you, baby, and we would always wait for you to come home. So, come home, yeah? There’s nothing for you to sorry about, don’t be worry baby goose.

Rooster proceeded to cry out loud while cat Mav petting his head with his paw trying to calm his kid down. He should text Ice after this, seems like their kid is coming home (and they might having 11 newly accidentally adopted kids to take care of as he could heard the other daggers hiding)

The daggers lurking at the door leading to the back of the Hard Deck, who was drawn to the place because they heard their Rooster sobbing: why tf there are a cat petting Rooster?? And why he was talking with it like he is captain ??? Roo????
