Most importantly, you will learn how to manage without the man who has sheltered you for the past 12 years. You will realize how different it is knowing your safety net is not there by your side. Although you are not alone, it is important to understand this and experience it. It is a new experience for me too. I hope we will benefit from this new experience. When the Almighty takes something away from you, He'll replace it with something else. In this case, someone else. Dahlia, my first born, my pride, my joy and probably my life. The one I depend on, the responsible one, the prim and proper one and definitely the shy one. When Allah took mummy away, He gave me Dahlia, he gave me my mother again. A splitting image of my mother, almost everything about Dahlia resembles my late mother. From her looks, to how she smiles, to her favorite food and her good habits. I did not get the chance to take care of mummy for long or as well as I should. Maybe He knows, of course He does, so he took mummy away from me probably in order for me to concentrate on my children. With this gift, I am blessed. I blessed to be given a chance again to raise, care and teach. Dahlia, you are more than just my child, my daughter. You are my number one. You are just like me and Ibu. Number ones. The one our parents depend on. The one who must lead and show good example to the younger ones.
