hello I love Metal Sonic very much he is my favorite Sonic character and I absolutely love the way you draw him and your movie au is so wholesome I love it so much! and since your requests are open, I wanted to ask - do you think Metal from your au is good at preparing food? he doesn't need food but I was wondering if he is still good at cooking or is he the absolute disaster at this (maybe he tried to cook something for others, and it was surprisingly good/absolutely terrible)

And to answer your question; I don't think he'd be great at it for a while, but he'd improve! I head cannon that Agent Stone liked to cook, (maybe even stress cooked) and it rubbed off on Metal as a result. Cooking reminds Metal of him.

Also, Metal is the only one who hasn't come close to burning the kitchen to the ground. Yet.

Knuckles... Method of dealing with it only deactivated Metal- all the important stuff like CPU, memory etc are all intact in there. Which means-

The thought of Metal being somewhat scared of Knuckles after that wouldn't leave my head

he's still very livid about it I imagine, how dare they defeat him so easily? but also he's slowly mimicking human behaviours so there's some self preservation in that CPU now too

Because of plot™️, Tom finds himself carrying a damaged (roboticized) movie metal sonic in his arms as he runs from certain danger and he don’t realize that metal sonic is then steadily hugging him for safety with his non damaged arm (almost like a son who haven’t hugged his dad in a while)

this ask reminded me of one scene from a show called We Bear Bears. One of the titular bears gets reminded of the sleeve of a firefighter that saved him as a kid and the inherent comfort and feeling of safety.

first thing that came to mind is the shenanigans of Tails using Metal as a shield whenever he's in trouble... Metal doesn't really care about the conflict but he loves to bring Sonic grief

But Tails??? Seeking comfort from Metal? AAOURGH....

One of Metals defining traits is being loyal as fuck and hes closest with Tails for a WHILE so even though he doesn't understand human emotions he sure is experiencing them

Doesn't help that he's progressively (unconsciously) mimicking Sonic and his big brother behaviours
