Νταμούχαρη-Πήλιο

Η "Νταμούχαρη" είναι ένας μικρός παραδοσιακός οικισμός στη βορειοανατολική ακτή του Πηλίου, στο Αιγαίο Πέλαγο. Για την ακρίβεια αποτελεί το επίνειο ενός μεγαλύτερου ορεινού χωριού που λέγεται "Μούρεσι". Απέχει 48 χιλ από τον Βόλο. Πρόκειται για δύο κολπίσκους, ένα γραφικό λιμάνι βόρεια και μία παραλία με το χαρακτηριστικό της λευκό βότσαλο νότια. Ανάμεσά τους δεσπόζει ένας μικρός λόφος με ερείπια από τείχη βενετσιάνικου κάστρου.

Okay, buckle up for quite a rant now because though I didn't get to travel nearly as much as I would like, I did get to sse a few countries already and I have stories to tell, so this will be a bit longer!

First of all, I've travelled throughout Austria quite a bit, and my favourite places here would probably be the places I visited last year which are Gastein (@damn-d4niel do you know how lucky you are?) and Bad Gleinkirchheim.

I've been to Slovenia two times (not counting the times I just drove through there) - to the Triglav National Park which was one of the prettiest places I've been to yet and to Maribor, which too was super nice.

I've been to Croatia quite a few times (about 10 or so maybe?), but my coolest and most fascinating trip so far was in Summer of 2019 with a group of scouts, when we spent two days in Zadar on a boat and 10 days or so on a campside next to Pula - and the vibes were just so incredibly cool and I met such nice people and we also got to see Rovijn which is such a nice city, I wished I could go back though.

Another country I've been to quite a few times (I think 3?) is Greece and I want to go back there so badly because it's so beautiful and the people are very nice. And not to flex but I've been to two of the places where Mamma Mia scenes were shot (i stood where Sam and Harry stood when they missed the boat and I think where the boat with Tanja and Rosie arrives) AND I've seen the hill (+chapel) Donna runs up to to the winner takes it all. One of the scenes was shot in Skiathos, where my most recent trip to Greece was to, and the other one was shot in Damouchari - which is a place my family used to go to a whole lot, and my Grandma still ows me another trip there. Uschi, I have not forgotten. OH AND, and this might be quite interesting to @hannawalds , I went to Acheron River and had a little tour through it. It was fucking cold as hell, but super cool and I only realised years later that this was a fucking cool place.

I've also been to Italy two times, but I've not been too big of a fan of that one, because I didn't really get to see a lot of pretty parts of it, idk.

My favourite trip might have been the one I took to Manchester in 2019 though, because I went there with a friend of mine and though we stayed at the place of my Dad's friend, we spent most of the time travelling to different cities (Manchester itself, Chester and Liverpool) on our own and that was an amazing experience. Also, I think England is very pretty and I miss it and want to go back there asap, especially because I miss my English friends.

Tl;Dr: I've been to Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Italy and England and I want to go back to Greece and England as soon as possible.

L'eden esiste e si trova nel tratto di costa della penisola del Pelion.

Protetta dal picco Pourianos Stavros, il paesaggio costiero della costa est e della costa occidentale regalano spiagge e baie da sogno con acqua tropicale, paesi fermi nel tempo a picco sulla roccia, mulattiere, sentieri escursionistici e tarverne spartane.

La città di Volo, città cardine della penisola, offre attrazioni di tutti i tipi e per ogni gusto. Spiagge, montagne, foreste e addirittura la neve durante il periodo invernale. Insomma, mille motivi per visitare la penisola di Pilio e nemmeno uno per non farlo.

L’attrazione principale, è sicuramente il “trenaki” del Pelion. lnizialmente costruito per collegare Volos a Milies, funziona ora solo sulla tratta, lunga circa 16km, Ano Lechonia – Milies e solo da maggio ad ottobre. Il percorso dura circa un’ora e mezza, includendo la sosta di un quarto d’ora alla stazione intermedia di Ano Gatzea. Nel periodo estivo può essere difficile trovare posto, meglio arrivare una mezz’ora prima e sperare che il treno non sia stato prenotato da qualche gruppo…

Tra le spiagge più belle da raggiungere vi segnaliamo Agios Ioannis, Damoucharis, Milopotamos e Chorefto.

Come raggiungerla?

Per raggiungere la Penisola di Pelion è necessario passare da Volos oppure Salonicco, dove si arriva comodamente in aereo dall’Italia. Si prosegue in auto, circa 1-2 ore di viaggio a seconda della destinazione prescelta, su strada in buono stato ma piena di curve, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la costa Egea.

Eski yerleşim yerlerinden olan bu liman şehri, dev kayaların üzerine kurulan ve Unesco listesinde bulunan Meteora Manastırı ile cruise yolcularınının merakla beklediği bir destinasyon. Meteora, 30 kilometre alana yayılan ve 400 metreye varan kayalıklarıyla gerçekten etkileyici.
