निजी डाटा चोरी करने वालों की अब खैर नहीं, होगी जेल और 15 करोड़ तक जुर्माना, जानें डाटा चोरी से बचने के उपाय

चैतन्य भारत न्यूज नई दिल्ली. निजी डेटा की सेंधमारी ने बीते कुछ सालों में भारत समेत दुनियाभर के कई देशों की सरकारों की टेंशन बढ़ा दी है। इसे लेकर भारत सरकार अब एक डाटा संरक्षण कानून लागू करने की तैयारी में है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अगुवाई में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने इस बिल को मंजूरी दे दी है। अब सरकार संसद में चल रहे शीतकालीन सत्र में इस बिल को पेश करेगी। इस बिल के मुताबिक डाटा लीक होने पर कंपनियों पर जुर्माना लगाने का प्रावधान है। (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({}); तीन साल तक होगी जेल दरअसल, तेज रफ्तार जिंदगी में लगभग हर काम इंटरनेट के जरिए ही होता है। महानगरों की ही बात करें तो राशन से लेकर खाना, दवा, अस्पताल में समय लेना, रेल-बस टिकट और कपड़े तक ऑनलाइन खरीदे जा रहे हैं। ऑनलाइन खरीदारी करने में यूजर को अपनी सभी जानकारी देनी होती है। ऐसे में यूजर का डाटा इंटरनेट कंपनियों के पास पहुंच जाता है और फिर उसका गलत इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। लेकिन नए बिल के तहत यदि इंटरनेट कंपनियां यूजर के डाटा का गलत इस्तेमाल करती है तो उन पर भारी जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा। जानकारी के मुताबिक, निजी डाटा चुराने पर अब कंपनी के जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों को तीन साल की जेल भी हो सकती है और कंपनी को 15 करोड़ रुपए तक या उसके वैश्विक टर्नओवर का चार फीसदी जुर्माना भी देना पड़ सकता है। राष्ट्रीय हित से जुड़े मामलों में डाटा के इस्तेमाल की अनुमति बिल के मुताबिक, कोई भी निजी या सरकारी संस्था किसी व्यक्ति के डाटा का उसकी अनुमति के बिना इस्तेमाल नहीं कर सकती। किसी भी व्यक्ति को उसके डाटा के संबंध में अहम अधिकार होंगे। चिकित्सा आपातकाल और राज्य या केंद्र की लाभकारी योजनाओं के लिए ऐसा किया जा सकता है। संबंधित व्यक्ति अपने डाटा में सुधार या फिर संस्था के पास मौजूद अपने डाटा तक पहुंच की मांग कर सकता है। बिल में प्रावधान है कि, 'किसी भी संस्था को संबंधित व्यक्ति के डाटा को इस्तेमाल करने से पहले उसके बारे में बताना होगा। हालांकि, इस बिल में राष्ट्रीय हित से जुड़े मामलों पर डाटा के इस्तेमाल की अनुमति मिलेगी। जानकारी के मुताबिक, राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा, कानूनी कार्यवाही और पत्रकारिता के उद्देश्यों के लिए इस डाटा का इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा। ये भी हैं प्रावधान स्वास्थ्य, धर्म या राजनीतिक रुझान, बायोमेट्रिक, आनुवांशिक, यौन रुचियों, लैंगिक, वित्तीय आदि से संबंधित डाटा को संवेदनशील डाटा माना गया है। इसका उल्लंघन करने पर 5 करोड़ रुपए तक या कंपनी के वैश्विक टर्नओवर का दो फीसदी जुर्माने का प्रावधान है। सोशल मीडिया कंपनियों को अपने यूजर की पहचान के लिए ऐसा तंत्र विकसित करना होगा, जो स्वेच्छा से अपनी पहचान बताने को तैयार हैं। सिर्फ राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और अदालती आदेश से जुड़े मामलों में ही निजी डाटा का इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। 15-20 पैसे प्रति व्यक्ति बिक रहा है डाटा हाल ही में एक रिपोर्ट साम��े आई थी कि, लोगों की निजी जानकारियां महज 15 पैसे से लेकर 50 पैसे प्रति व्यक्ति के थोक भाव बिकती हैं। निजी डाटा लीक करने का कारोबार दस हजार करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा का है। इनमें सब��े ज्यादा विदेशी कंपनियां लगी हुई हैं। अब तक इन मामलों को लेकर कोई कानून नहीं बना था, ऐसे में पुलिस चाहकर भी कुछ नहीं कर पा रही है। आम जनता के पास रोजाना किसी न किसी कॉल सेंटर से फोन आ जाता है। कोई इंश्योरेंस लेने की बात कहता है तो कोई प्लॉट, फ्लैट, क्रेडिट कार्ड, या पर्सनल लोन का ऑफर करता है। ऐसे में कई बार लोगों को काफी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। कैसे होता है डाटा चोरी विशेषज्ञ की माने तो आपका स्मार्ट फोन कुछ ही सेकंड में हैक हो सकता है। ऐसे में आपकी सभी जानकारी लीक हो जाती है। एक अध्ययन के मुताबिक, 70 प्रतिशत से अधिक स्मार्टफोन ऐप्स ऐसी हैं जो आपकी निजी जानकारी थर्ड पार्टी ट्रैकिंग कंपनियों को दे रही हैं। इन ऐप के जरिए कंपनियों की पहुंच आपके मोबाइल फोन के माइक और फोटो गैलरी तक भी हो जाती है। ये सिलसिला तब से शुरू हुआ है, जब से यूजर्स ने स्मार्टफोन में ऐप डाउनलोड करना शुरू किया है। थर्ड पार्टी के पास डेटा जाने के बाद इसका कई तरह से इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। जैसे- गूगल पर जो चीज आप सबसे ज्यादा सर्च करते हैं या पढ़ते हैं उससे संबंधित विज्ञापन आपके मोबाइल और डेस्कटॉप पर आने लगते हैं। इससे कैसे बचें अपने फोन की ऐप में गैरजरूरी एक्सेस डिसेबल करें। फोन सेटिंग में जाकर आप ऐप परमीशन का स्टेटस देखें, और जिनकी एक्सेस नहीं देनी है, उन्हें डिसेबल कर दें। हमेशा दो मेल आईडी रखे। एक आईडी जो बैंक कम्यूनिकेशन वाली हो उसे मोबाइल से कनेक्ट न करें। सबसे ज्यादा डाटा चोरी उन जगहों से होती है जहां डाउनलोड किया गया। जब भी आप किसी साइबर कैफे कोई जरुरी काम करें, जैसे आधार या फिर अन्य दस्तावेज डाउनलोड करना, तो उन्हें रिसाइकिल बिन से भी डिलीट कर दें। अगर किसी साइबर कैफे में अपना मेल आईडी लॉगिन करते हैं तो उसे डिलीट करके ही जाएं। गूगल प्ले स्टोर पर ऐप डाउनलोड करने से पहले उसकी रेटिंग जरूर देखें। रेटिंग 4 या अधिक होनी चाहिए। ये भी पढ़े... 13 लाख भारतीयों के डेबिट-क्रेडिट कार्ड का डेटा चोरी, ऑनलाइन बेच रहे हैकर्स यदि आप भी हुए हैं ऑनलाइन फ्रॉड के शिकार, तो ऐसे कीजिए शिकायत आपको बिना बताए अकाउंट से पैसे निकाल रहे हैं ये ऐप, तुरंत करें डिलीट वरना हो सकता है नुकसान जानें कैसे भारतीय WhatsApp में घुसी इजरायली एजेंसी? कौन-कौन हुए इस जासूसी के शिकार? There is a mobile app called Likee. It is an app that allows you to make short videos and sometimes put audios and special effects/ filters over them (kind of like the app TikTok). What first drove me to this app was the fact that some people I follow on another similar app where having their content and/ or identities stolen and posted on the Likee app. I had intended to create an account, report the fake profiles and stolen content and the delete the app all together. What I have found is much worse.

The Likee app has a function where you can post a “wish list”. It is where you post a list of materials or items that you don’t have the funds to bye so your followers can help out. Most people would use these lists to obtain materials so they can keep making original content. However, instead the people making the fake accounts are also being sent things on their lists. Others with fake accounts have PayPal’s that people are sending money to.

Another issue that I have seen is that Likee has a “nearby” function. You click the button and Likee accesses your phone’s location in order to find accounts near you that have recently posted videos. This wouldn’t seem like too big of an issue, if it weren’t for the fact that it also gives the distance between you and where the video was posted. Since a lot of people just make the videos at home, it seems very easy to find out where someone lives. This can be dangerous for everyone, but especially the younger children on the app.

This brings me to another problem. If you go to Likee on the App Store, you will see that it is marked as a 17+ app. There are a lot of adults and older teens using Likee. Some of the content may not be suitable for young children. Despite this, children around ten or even younger have been creating profiles anyway and have lied about their age. This creates two problems. One is that now they may see content they are not suppose to. The other is that now they are posting content like they see the older users do. This leads to them doing very inappropriate things. Several people have deleted their own Likee accounts because they have stumbled across some of these videos. What makes this worse are the bots and some adults who send comments encouraging the inappropriate behavior.

The chat bots are randomly generated profiles that follow everyone and leave random comments and likes on videos (I believe they were created to give encouragement to smaller accounts). Some of the comments are harmless like “How did you do that?!” Or “WOW pretty picture!” But others get on the weird side like “Ok, babe. I’ll take it.” or “hey cutie 😍” and some can get worse then that. It gets hard to separate the bots from real people and because of this, the children on the app don’t know that they need to report or block some of them. Basically, the users that I am talking about are sexualizing kids.

They don’t post content of their own. They make fake profiles and only follow the kinds, pretending to be a young teen or child too. But when you see some of their comments on the videos, you see comments like “😍😘” “hot” Or “thats what I like to see” and it’s always on videos of kids mostly young girls dancing inappropriately to even more inappropriate songs.

Some parents do monitor their kids profiles to make sure they aren’t doing anything bad. But even then, the perverts can see the kids videos. Blocking someone can stop them from commenting or sending messages but they can still watch the videos and lives. Even when a profile is reported for violating multiple guidelines and is reported by multiple people, their profile is not removed.

I have looked up a few things about Likee and the company that owns it, BIGO. The app is completely monitored by an AI system and because of this, when someone tries contacting the company, they only get automated replies. I have tried emailing all the provided email addresses and left a review on the App Store and only received instructions on how to block and report accounts. A group of us have also gone to other media in an attempt to reach the company and spread the word to parents. So far we have received no reply on the matter.
