Oc intros. A brief overview of these guys

Hartley Moon: A wizard's familiar, she used to be a bat before being placed inside a porcelain doll . That doll became her new form and was magically made life sized, standing at 5 feet tall; to keep mobile, she must occasionally drink blood, just a bit at a time. She is blunt and hasn't fully come to understand human emotions. She is completely loyal to her wizard. Her bat instincts have stayed, she occasionally eats bugs that do crawl back out of her mouth, screams in dark rooms to not actually echo locate, and amongst other stuff hangs from ceilings.

Bentley Beaumont: A wizard, he is who Hartley assists and who placed her in that doll. He's always tired cranky, standing at 6'2. He's also blunt in a not caring kinda style. He's trans. He won't readily say he made Hartley a doll because his only friend was a bat, he does say it's easier for her to act as an assistant when she has ten fingers.

Also they kiss. Weird lil couple.
