I was highly inspired by J.M. Lee's Song of the Dark Crystal, which I loved a lot. Kylan is the best boy :) I tried to make this nice and balanced, but not too symmetrical to keep the flow and shapes interesting.

One of the things that never fails to amaze me about the DISGUSTINGLY talented puppet makers for the Jim Henson Company is that they can create something that looks alive even when it’s not being manipulated?

Like, look at these guys. They look like actors, not puppets or dolls! Kylan looks like he’s sneering at the camera and Deet looks taken aback as if someone’s just shoved a camera in her face.

These people truly amaze me!

So I'm a day late for this haha...

I'm unfortunately not gonna be able to participate in this week as much as I wanted to, due to being sick this weekend and having a large project I want to get done before Christmas but I'll try to participate as much as I can, even if my entry's are a bit late lol.

Anyway, I've had a lot of characters that I've called my favorite but Kylan has been consistently on my top 5, and I think he is gonna be my number one from here on out! I have liked him just from the show, but the books just made him even more lovable! I need to reread those soon...
