Deep Dive 🌊🫧

Tikki isn't a big fan of water, but somehow Roito managed to convince him to go swimming together. He might have had some ulterior motives tho... 💙

Close-ups, lore dump and my thoughts under the cut~

Roito is usually not quick to fall in love because of his abandonment issues. He fights actively against his feelings towards Tikki, because he's the blinding light that attracts him like a moth, and he's afraid to get burned. When he finally falls for him he really wants to treasure his beloved. Acts matter more than words to Roito (tho a few well articulated sentences are appreciated) so that's what he will do; Let his affection speak for itself and hope it heals all his partner's unseen wounds, even just a little bit.

Tikki is not that familiar with romance, having never even considered it an option for him and his presumably short lifespan, but Roito piques his interest in a way he just can't ignore. The guy is known for acting stone cold, yet Tikki has never felt the kind of warmth with anyone or anything else before, not even Heartfire itself compares. It's so strange and scary, but there's this newfound desire to just surrender and embrace his warmth, unapologetically.

Phew, took a while to get this long drawing done! 😅 But working on something this sweet and sensual was very motivating, I felt like a screaming and kicking fangirl of my own characters, hehee 🤭💕 The funniest part is that this started out as just a silly way to showcase their teeny tiny tails lol

Tender moment between Tikki and Roito ✨

Tikki rarely takes off his hat because it gives him comfort and has sentimental value like a lucky charm, so letting someone else touch it and even lower it is very intimate and vulnerable to him. It shows how much trust he has for Roito 🥺

I just wanted to make something sweet for Valentine's day 💖 Roito's ears kept bugging me because of their shape and this dang angle I chose but maybe I'll figure them out as I keep drawing him 😅

Updated her design and colors while I was at it. The second image is the greyscale color palette I'll be using for the comic. Simplified to show some mercy on myself lol

Gelfling OC comic update! ✨

First update for the project in 2025 and I'm happy to tell you that now 50% of the pages are done! 🎉 Reworking some of my original panel compositions managed to lower the page count without cutting any story content, which obviously made my life as the creator a bit easier (haha) and hopefully resulted in a more streamlined reading experience for the readers 😊

Now there's also a 50/50 chance of me getting this thing done before the deadline I set for June... Even if this is just a fun project I do on my free time, I want to challenge myself by working towards this goal as hard as I can. Wish me luck! 👀💦

And as the icing on the cake, the comic now has an official name!! 🥳

One of the first people to befriend Tikki and the little sister of Roito. She's like the complete opposite of his brother, very curious and lively 😁 She aspires to be as capable as Roito, but faces trouble finding her place in their village, despite possessing some natural talent she's too afraid to bring to light just yet... 🔨

Haven't made anything like this in a long, long while and I should have done some technical stuff differently, but I'll let those things slide for now 😅 Maybe I'll be wiser next time!
