Right now I struggle to draw old people, I gotta improve it, but still attempted to give a go to a human Kerubim cause he's the best grandpa-dad

Wanted to find a base skintone to draw Simone in, cause the show has very yellow-ish skintones and I wanted a more natural palette, hence these drawings. Decided to amp the challenge by also using this study to find how I want to draw her face with more realistic proportions.. Not fully perfect, but I'm happy with the end result!

And if you wonder what I mean with neutral expression versus usual expression..

These are what I call her neutral (on the left) and usual (right) expressions in the show!

( I know that the "usual one can be argued to be neutral but I didn't think of calling it something like "default" til later.. Consider it neutral in the sense of not half-closing her eyes or any other action...)

The Simone expy saga continues, this time even more glaringly! Episode 11 of this season... We are treated to TWO expies who for sure use Simone's modeo and face, though one has a shawl and other has a different ponytail hairstyle than our well-known osa:

Funnily, the most recycled Simone expies appear in a ruel/arpa scene, just like Simone's model being famously used in their backstory flashback for season 3 (model wise, it's the same as the blonde simone, albeit not using a shawl. It could perfectly be Simone's actual datdk model with no changes, though we don't know as the flashback was in black and white) even in a similar albeit more visible screen position.

Brunette expy reminds me of Simone's cameo in the dofus movie's model carrying a big basket over her head

Captain Macra L'Orange from datdk, too. Iop granny, she and Simone make three walking datdk refs in a sole season. Wow! It's faint but also funny thing, the Macra expy has a face scar like Macra does during most of her debut episode. I don't see many people talk about it, but after Kerubim heals Macra using the Likrom's horn, not only do her recent wounds heal, but her face scar fades away!

I JUST NOTICED that in the same scene with the iop granny from dofusauxtresor and the black guy with a... Probably problematic design (fun fact the character I'm gonna talk about is being held by him, so maybe they're a couple?) We see a character that reuses (or aproximates) Simone's uniformed model, too, but with some design changes, such as hair and clothing colours, the face being rounder, a different fringe, eye shape and hairband shape, too, and not having osa horns, but, perhaps more glaringly, this Simone-expy is very pale.

I have edited my original post in which I go WHY ARE YOU WHITE instead of calling her pale cause I just learnt some poc can be white passing redhairs, so while this Simone expy could perfectly be white she could also perfectly be white-passing, hence, gonna use pale instead to better encompass the possibilities. I apologise for my ignorance.
