You woke up feeling uncomfortable in the acclaimed “most comfortable bed in the kingdom”. Your joints felt all sore and you could barely feel your arm from sleeping on it all night.

Technically it was all morning, not all night. Last night you…

You shot straight up, making yourself dizzy in the process, but it felt like nothing compared to the dizziness from all the memories racing through your mind.

His lips on yours. His hands hugging your waist. Your own hands wandering freely, unashamed.

That had to be dream.. right? Just another fantasy.

But you remember all too vividly the hitch in his voice as he whispered in your ear, “Is this really okay?”

And you remember all too clearly the confidence in your voice as you whispered back, “It is. Now kiss me.”

You buried your head in your hands. You said that?? You, the princess of this kingdom, said that??? And no less to a complete stranger.

Oh god. There were so many people at the party last night. Even worse, most were diplomats and nobles from other kingdoms.

You flopped back down the bed and hoped it would eat you alive.

Worst-case scenario is that the man with the nice lips is a high-ranking noble from a powerful nation. Best case is that he’s one of the palace servants.

You paused. Is it better for your reputation if you were known to be passionately making out with a servant on the palace balconies? And during a grand-scale party?

Possibly not but if it was a servant, you were confident you could get him to keep quiet.

But wait… since when did the palace have nice, young servants with lips like honey who could—

No. You can’t be thinking about that right now. You need to focus on finding a solution, and to do that you need to remember mystery man’s face or better yet his name.

You scrunched your face in concentration, trying to remember something, anything about what happened before you two started… doing that.

In the end, all you could remember was his voice. Everything before the kiss was hazy.

Why’d you have to drink last night? You knew you tended to become a bit too loose after just a few drinks but still…

“I think it’s cute, the nation’s lovely princess all flushed and drunk.”

That’s what he said. Even though you insisted you weren’t that drunk.

No servant would dare speak like that to a royal so that means he had to be someone of quite the rank. Now there’s just the problem of whether he’s from here or from another nation.

Please let him be from here, you begged internally. But as the limited memories you had played in your mind, you reluctantly had to admit he definitely was a foreigner.

You knew most if not all of the nation’s noblemen who were invited to the party last night. Of those the appropriate age, none had the voice of last night’s stranger — this you were certain of.

You groaned in frustration. What. had. you. done.

The door opened with a hasty bang. Maids, a lot more than you normally needed, filed into the room and started getting busy here and there. The looming thoughts of consequences from earlier faded away as you sat staring around bewildered.

“What’s going on?” You ask your head maid as she threw away the covers and dragged you out of bed.

“I’m afraid this has been a rush to all of us as well Your Highness and we are terribly sorry to have to wake you like this but—“

“But?” you repeated as she led you into the powder room.

“But there is a suitor waiting for you in the throne room.” Barely able to contain a squeal she added, “and a terribly attractive one at that.”

A suitor? They weren’t necessarily rare but judging from the maids’ excitement and what little you could catch of their whispers, this one was somehow special. If he’s from a good nation and, well if it’s true he’s attractive, you see no reason to decline his courting.

However, you couldn’t help but feel wary of the timing. There are many guests in the area from many different nations due to last night's party event. Your suitor might’ve had plans to court you since before arriving, or might’ve seen you last night and became smitten.

And the latter was what you were wary of. Hm no, wary doesn’t quite describe how you feel. Panicky, stressed, scared are all more accurate words.

You barely noticed when the maids were done dressing you up. One moment you were in bed, the next you were walking down your palace’s long carpeted halls towards the throne room.

You paused once outside, giving yourself time to breathe and push away the thoughts of last night. For now, you were going to focus on this suitor, nothing more nothing less.

The doors of the throne room opened and you walked in. Your mother was seated on her throne - a piece of unnecessarily lavish furniture in your opinion - talking excitedly with a blonde haired man.

You couldn’t see his face, but you could sense nobility just from his posture.

So this was your suitor, or at least you assumed.

As if on queue, your mother spoke in a loud voice.

“Darling, this is the prince of Inarizaki. He’s come to court you.”

She had a smile on her face and you swear you could see sparkles in her eyes as she looked back and forth between you and the prince.

“Now I understand things are done differently in this day and age, so I will leave you two to talk, get to know each other a little better. If and when you come to a decision, please do let me know.”

You rolled your eyes inwardly but it was nice that your mother isn’t going to make you sit through an awkward afternoon of tea with your suitors and their parents anymore.

“No rush on that decision by the way,” she called as she walked past you towards the door.

You inhaled slowly and exhaled as soon as you heard the door shut behind her.

“You look lovely this morning princess.”

You froze. His voice was eerily similar to the one playing in your mind all morning.

In fact, now that you saw his face clearly, you had to admit that you’ve seen it before. The blonde hair, slight smirk, shining eyes were all terrifyingly familiar.

Your thoughts must’ve been painted on your face because he said, “My my was I that forgettable? Last night—”

“We do not need to talk of last night,” you hastily said, gathering yourself.

“Are you going to reject me?” The innocent tone he said it in annoyed you. There was nothing innocent about him, especially the way his eyes—

No. Stop. You can’t afford to stare aimlessly into his eyes.

You took a deep breath, trying to clear your mind and maintain the regal air of the princess you were.

“I am not going to reject you. There’s no reason to… yet,” you started. Seeing his expression, you quickly added. “I am here to get to know you better. That is all.”

“‘Get to know me better’” He echoed, leaning in close, closer, so close you could turn your head and press a kiss against his cheek.

“Do you not know me well enough already?”

Images of last night came into mind. You couldn’t help it and being so close to him again made things worse. It was very hard to think straight in such a situation.

“I don’t even know your name,” you whispered without realizing.

He took a step back. For the briefest moment, you saw something that could’ve been shock flicker across his face. It was replaced quickly by his casual smirk as he gently took your hand and brought it to his lips.

“Miya Atsumu, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Inarizaki. Pleased to make your acquaintance.”

N7 Day 2021 approaches!

Thanks to the Legendary Edition released this past May, many folks--myself included--are new to the fourteen-year-old video game trilogy. I’ve found myself neck-deep in the Mass Effect fandom since the summer and have discovered tons of great fanworks, old and new.

In anticipation of N7 Day, I began thinking about how to spread the love and support to the works I’ve enjoyed; thus was born the idea of a Fic Recommendation Week dedicated to championing the fanmade stories we each appreciate!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE_

Once a day, beginning Monday, November 1st, 2021, make a Tumblr post that provides a link or reblog to a fic you love--particularly a fic you’d be delighted to see get more attention than it currently has!

(Please do not self-promote.)

Besides relevant fanfiction tags, include #N7RecWeek so all the recommendations can be archived together!

30 days writing challenge - Day 01

#01 Liệt kê ít nhất 10 điều khiến bạn hạnh phúc

Hạnh phúc luôn là một khái niệm mơ hồ với mình. Mình đã luôn không có một định nghĩa nào rõ ràng cho nó hay gọi tên rõ ràng những khoảnh khắc đó cả. Nhưng mình tin rằng chỉ cần làm việc thấy bản thân thoải mái, không phải khiên cưỡng, đó là lúc trong mình âm thầm gọi tên ‘hạnh phúc’.

Đây sẽ là một bản danh sách hỗn độn. Mình nghĩ thế, chúng cũng hỗn độn như những khoảnh khắc bản thân mình không sắp xếp thứ tự bao giờ trong ngổn ngang cảm xúc cho dù có được đánh số đi chăng nữa. Cho nên, dù bạn là ai thì cũng chịu khó thông cảm cho những thứ có chút mơ hồ này nhé!

1. Mua một hay nhiều cuốn sách cùng lúc

Từ ngày còn rất nhỏ, sách luôn là điều gì đó giống như ma lực với mình. Mình từng lần mò đọc những cuốn sách rất chi là kỳ cục trên cái giá sách cũ kỹ chứa nhiều sách tham khảo của các cấp học còn nhiều hơn là sách thường thức hay sách văn học của gia đình. Cho đến bây giờ, khi đã có thể tự mua sách cho bản thân mình, mình vẫn luôn tận hưởng cảm giác thích thú khi được cầm những cuốn sách mới trên tay. Mùi mực mới và cảm giác trang giấy sột soạt trên những đầu ngón tay trở thành những điều vô thức mình luôn tìm đến mỗi tháng. À đúng rồi đó, sao có thể cưỡng lại việc khiến mình hạnh phúc nhỉ? Mình mua sách hầu như mỗi tháng mà.

2. Đi lang thang đâu đó một mình

Có những khi chỉ muốn tận hưởng hạnh phúc mà riêng mỗi bản thân mình trong khoảnh khắc đó thôi. Có thể nghe nó khá là…ích kỷ? Không biết do điều gì tác động, bản thân mình lại là kẻ lớn lên yên lặng và tách biệt. Mình không thích nói quá nhiều, đặc biệt ưu ái những không gian riêng-trong-cái-chung. Người thân thường hay nói mình có vẻ khá…kỳ quái, không giống bình thường. Chắc một phần là vì mình có tính tận hưởng cảm giác vui thích kỳ lạ khi được lang thang đâu đó chỉ có một mình.

3. Uống nước ngọt có ga

Đây là một tật xấu đấy! Có những giai đoạn mình uống nước ng��t có ga như một cách áp chế cảm xúc. Nhưng sự thực là mình vui lên khi mình uống nước có ga. Có những điều để mình buông thả, và mình đoán một trong số đó là tật xấu làm nên khoảnh khắc gọi là hạnh phúc này.

4. Nấu ăn

Phải thú thực mình một con lười biếng. Bình thường thì mình không hay cố g��ng nấu ăn cho dù bản thân không phải người nấu ăn tệ, thậm chí là mình đã được rèn luyện để biết rất nhiều thứ trong chuyện bếp núc như một người con gái trong tiêu chuẩn gia giáo thực thụ. Thế nhưng lười biếng không có nghĩa là khoảnh khắc nấu nướng không mang lại những niềm vui. Khi bị áp lực nhiều, mình hay chọn nấu ăn hoặc dọn dẹp để tránh bị một bụng nước ngọt. Làm những công việc nhà không cần dùng não, mình có thể lơ đãng nghe một bản nhạc trong lúc nấu ăn, khoảnh khắc ấy không biết có nên gọi là khiến mình hạnh phúc hay không nhưng chí ít mình cảm thấy thoải mái.

5. Dồn sức làm một món đồ thủ công nho nhỏ

Chẳng vì lý do gì cả, chỉ bởi vì lúc đó cảm xúc muốn chinh phục những thứ đòi hỏi sự khéo léo cuốn phăng mình đi. Một tấm thiệp trang trí thật cầu kỳ, một món quà gấp giấy thủ công toàn bộ, những món cắt dán, thêu thùa hay đan lát nhỏ xíu,… bất kể là thứ gì tự dưng khiến mình cảm thấy bị thách thức thì mình sẽ làm nó với một niềm say mê không gì ngăn cản nổi cho dù có thể sau đó mình sẽ không bao giờ làm lại lần thứ hai.

6. Viết tay bằng bút mực

Mãi cho đến ngày học năm cuối cấp tiểu học mình mới trở thành một đứa viết chữ đẹp và có người công nhận mình viết chữ đẹp. Để rồi sau này mình giữ niềm hứng thú với bút mực, với sự tỉ mỉ khi dùng và đặt nó viết lên trang giấy. Đã có thời mình mua bút mực về, chỉ để chép tay lại những câu chuyện mình đã đánh máy vì muốn lưu giữ lại những ý tưởng theo cách trân trọng nhất. Viết bút mực, nét chữ thanh thoát và cứng cỏi trên trang giấy trắng đã có thời trở thành một hình mẫu lý tưởng trong mình. (Suỵt, Ruki nhà mình cũng thích bút máy, anh còn có tật quay bút trong vô thức nữa, dễ thương muốn xỉu…)

7. Giảng giải một điều gì đấy cho người khác

Có người từng bảo mình có khả năng sư phạm, và tất nhiên giải thích một điều gì đấy cho người khác đúng là khiến mình vui vẻ hơn thật. Mình không phải dạng người bẩm sinh đã thông minh mà là kiểu trải qua cọ xát mới hiểu được vấn đề cho nên mình không cảm thấy từ a đến z là hiển nhiên, mình biết các bước phải đi qua. Cũng vì lẽ đó mà mình có thể diễn đạt lại con đường cho người khác tốt hơn là kiểu bẩm sinh thông minh, nhìn cái đã hiểu.

8. Hoa cúc trắng

Nghe giống hoa dùng cho tang lễ, viếng mộ nhỉ? Ban đầu hình như mình cũng cười thầm vì mình yêu thích kiểu hoa nghe đã thấy gắn liền với thứ không hay. Tuy nhiên, yêu thích là yêu thích, chẳng cần nguyên cớ gì rõ ràng cả, mình vẫn cứ thích hoa cúc trắng một cách cố chấp như cách mình đã cố chấp suốt chừng đó năm cuộc đời.

9. Viết lách

Trừ khi bản thân tự ép mình phải viết ra điều gì đó, còn lại đa phần những khoảnh khắc được tung hoành trên bàn phím hay là trên trang giấy đều khiến mình thư thái. Dù dạo gần đây dấn thân vào công việc yêu cầu viết lách theo quy luật khá nhiều khiến mình rơi vào trạng thái có phần hơi khủng hoảng ngôn từ đến mức phải đi dụ dỗ người khác cùng tham gia 30 days writing challenge để cứu vãn tình hình. Nhưng đâu rồi sẽ có đó, mình biết bản thân không thể tự dập tắt được cảm giác muốn viết và sự thích thú khi diễn tả được câu chuyện trong mình.

10. Xem phim một mình

Mình thích thú những câu chuyện được kể bằng hình ảnh, chỉ thế thôi. Với cả dù sao thì xem phim cũng không nên mất trật tự nên xem một hay hai mình nó cũng đâu có ảnh hưởng đến cảm xúc khi thưởng thức tác phẩm nhỉ? Với cả nếu một mình thì mình còn được độc chiếm túi bỏng nữa. =))))))))

Kể vụn vặt có lẽ có thể còn kể được nhiều nhưng lan man quá cũng không phải là một tính tốt, nhỉ? Hoàn thành ngày thử thách đầu tiên, dù không mấy thuận lợi nhưng ít ra có thể khơi nguồn cảm hứng!

He brings with him design and leadership skills developed over more than two decades in the graphic design industry.

For my first day at working Windsor creative, Junnie gave me the branding logo project for leadership training event in church. I made three different concepts of the Gather logo with using limited colour from the color palettes what clients want and using symbols of outdoor and icons of people to reflect the connected ideal mood of the program

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Our Terms & Conditions are strictly followed and applied. We encourage you to read and agree with them carefully before booking a trip with us.

• Every member must keep his / her original CNIC. Event coordinator keeps right to ask at any point, any time during traveling.

• Immoral conduct/ misbehaving with organizers/team members or participants are strictly prohibited.

• Females should be given special respect and privacy privileges in all circumstances.

• A member needs to have prior permission before taking pictures of other members. (Especially females)

(If found guilty of taking pictures without consent the memory card will be confiscated permanently.)

• Maximum 10KG Cargo Bags are allowed.

• Every member is responsible his / her Bags and has to carry its on luggage; kindly keep your belongings under your supervision at all times.

• The members shall not be indulged in any act reflecting moral or character failing during the activities.

• Using drugs or found party to drug sale or possession is strictly prohibited. If anyone finds or caught using any kind of drug will be expelled from the trip right away on the spot and the person will not be eligible for any kind of refund.

• Use of violent behavior including altercation, insinuations of indecent kind, verbal and physical abuse and assault, aggravated behavior, or any other act amounting to unbecoming of member are strictly prohibited.

• All members would give extra care for the local environmental care .Garbage (tins. Water bottles, wrappers etc.) Shall be suitably disposed without polluting water sources.

• The host reserves the right to cancel trip without prior notice for any reasons deemed appropriate by them. In such a case the registered participants will receive full refund.

• During the trip, the itineraries may be affected by reasons beyond control of the hosts. In such situation, organizers will not be held responsible in any case.

• On steep ascends in mountainous areas, air conditioned of the buses will be operational on on-off basis to keep the vehicles from overheating.

• Every humanly possible care will be taken for the safety of members, still each venture can be fraught with endangers of unforeseen natural disasters like avalanches and crevasse falls or any other accidents and sometimes such disasters cannot be ruled out. In any such type of accident during the whole tour, the company, group leader and the tour organizers will not be held responsible in any form.

• In case of theft, lost or damage to personal belongings during the duration of the trip, organizers will not be held responsible in any case.

• On adventure trek of this type, weather, local politics, transport or a multitude of other factors beyond the control of organizers can result in a change of itinerary. It is, however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered; if alterations are necessary the Leader and Guide will decide what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group.

• In case of refund, Company will make refund within 10 working days.

• K-2 TRAVELS is not responsible for any insurance claims in case (God forbid) personal injuries and accidents shall happen.

• Only the decision of event coordinator will be considered as Final.

• Organizers reserve the right to assign seats in the Coaster/Cabin HI-ace.

• The Organizers reserves the right to use event photos for electronic/digital media.

• Smoking in the transport vehicle is strictly not allowed under any circumstances.

• The Organizers reserves the right to terminate/regret any participant due to indiscipline.

• K-2 Travels is not responsible for delays due to Act of God, political reasons and unavoidable circumstances.

• Food shall be decided by the management.

• Local’s norms and traditions should be respected at all times.

• All activities shall be done by members on their own accord and K-2 TRAVELS will not be responsible for any mishaps whatsoever.

• K-2 Travels is Independent and Private Organization. We do not have any link or agreement with any University or Institute.

• K-2 Travels shall not be responsible for anything not mentioned above explicitly.
