Single parent SJ and baby A-Yuan but both of them live in Gotham and meet Jason Todd and kid Damian Wayne.

SJ loves his child, he really do and that is why he braves himself enough to travel to Gotham for a new life with his baby after he got an offer from Wayne Corporation as assistant manager until he takes over the manager position of his senior employee who're planning to retire . At least it was away from them and the corporate offer better wages and holiday plans. Plus the building offer free daycare for their workers.

A Yuan is the light of his life and he cannot helps but becoming a bit obsessed with his baby. Sure living in Gotham is dangerous for both of them but it was somehow manages to become a better option for them comparing what SJ had done to survive back in the past.

Until one night , Jason Todd crashes the apartment next door loudly because the key got jammed, thinking nobody lives in that particular apartment floor with toddler Damian and wakes up baby SY (and SJ who live next door) from his sleep.

Paranoid SJ with wooden pint are ready to beat the person who wakes up his baby and got shocked seeing a sleep deprived young man with heavy eye bags and a toddler trying to unlock the apartments door.

Idk how old Jason actually was but this is after Lazarus pit and before Talia plans to send Damian to Bruce.

This idea is so fun! But... I have to ask though. What's Shen Jiu's thoughts about the Joker and clowns? Does Shen Jiu have any cultivation skills and powers in this AU in order for him to still feel safe in Gotham where crime rates are sky high? Also clowns.

DID SHEN JIU EVEN THINK TO RESEARCH GOTHAM'S CRIME RATES?? He probably did in order to understand how much that salary is worth - cost of living varies from country to country, city to city, so it's important to understand how much your one dollar in your pocket is really worth. How is Shen Jiu dealing with this cultural shift - going from Chinese to American culture is a whiplash; what's the immigrant experience for Shen Jiu? How is he coping with shopping, cooking, and speaking in his not-native language?

Also if Shen Yuan is a baby, does Shen Jiu have a babysitter? He wouldn't be on paternal leave unless he's already been working at Wayne Corporation, just at another branch. How close is Shen Jiu's position to interacting with Bruce Wayne and the board of directors?
