We can spend all day everyday having a great time with memes, that's not a problem at all, but it's so God damn tiring seeing blatant misinformation being passed off as 'haha funny jab at this thing I don't like'. You aren't making a point if what you're saying isn't true.

The post I just came across was trying to make fun of Windows for the fact that Windows can't run off of 4 GB of RAM but Linux has no problem doing so. This would not be a problem as a meme if it were true, but it is not. Very much like running Windows on a computer, running Linux is incredibly dependent on enumerating factors such as the performance of the device, what distro you are using, what kind of ram your 4 GB of RAM is (DDR3 single channel vs ddr4 dual Channel is a HUGE difference), among dozens of other things. I have seen machines with relatively modern (1 or 2 gens old) processors and 16GB of RAM absolutely shit the bed trying to run Linux, but then devices with tiny little weak arm processors and 4 gigabytes of ram run Linux perfectly fine, no issues. Hell, some of the Chromebooks that have the Linux feature act as if it's a normal everyday thing, and some other Chromebooks with the Linux feature that are theoretically more powerful can barely launch a simple Linux app.

If you're going to make a meme being catty and making fun of something you don't like, it needs to be for a reason that is actually real instead of just blatantly lying. For example, if I made a meme that makes fun of Apple for claiming to care about their user experience or claiming to care about the environment but then going and making all of the dumbass device design and packaging decisions that they have recently, that would be a realistic way and an accurate way to make a meme with that kind of intention. If i, however, decided to make a meme about how iPhones are so stupid they can't even sideload apps, that would in fact be misinformation. You can sideload apps onto an iphone. It is an incredibly frustrating process and is made as difficult as it possibly could be by Apple, and even then you are only able to install like six or so apps, but you can still do it.

Even when you are just trying to be funny with a meme it is important to uphold some form of journalistic integrity for yourself given that large media corporations and AI content farms seem determined to reduce the quality of information on the internet to an overcooked congee. As the quality of information on the internet reduces, it becomes more and more likely that something you post that is inaccurate as a joke could be something people actually end up believing. The internet is public after all. You are not posting in a vacuum, you are posting somewhere that anyone could end up seeing what you are saying. Essentially, just fact check your posts and make sure that the memes and content that you are making are not spreading falsified information in an already difficult to navigate landscape of modern information on the internet.

Soundbooth is a discontinued digital audio editor by Adobe Systems Incorporated for Windows XP, Windows Vista, 7 and Mac OS X. Adobe has described it as being 'in the spirit of SoundEdit 16 and Cool Edit 2000'. Adobe also has a more powerful program called Adobe Audition, which replaced Soundbooth as of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium. Soundbooth, discontinued in 2011, was aimed at creative professionals who do not specialize in audio or people who need a simple editing program and do not require the full features of Adobe Audition. Due to Intel-specific code, Adobe stated that the Mac OS X version would only be available for machines using Intel processors. Soundbooth CS4 was the first version to support 64-bit officially.

Creation of the Adobe Sound Document allows Adobe Flash to create multi-track audio projects in Soundbooth.(1) Soundbooth also features dynamic linking that allows video sequences from Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro to be played in Soundbooth without having to first be rendered, a feature that is expected to save users time.(1)Writing life story examples.

The major difference between the programs is that Soundbooth uses a task-based interface and Adobe Audition uses a tool-based interface.(2) Another difference is that Soundbooth uses royalty-free scores and sound effects whereas Adobe Audition uses music loops and allows for low latency multi-track recording.(2)

Many users have commented on the lack of simple features that were found in programs like Sound Edit 16 and Cool Edit Pro; for example, the ability to create a new file or to 'reverse' a sound.(citation needed)Laurie lee memoir book.

Lack of simple batch processing makes it a chore when needing to simply speed up, clean up (pops or crackles), or apply a pitch change to all of the files in a project. Each chapter, track, or MP3 file must be opened, applied, and saved independently; contrary to customer expectations of features that freeware has provided for many years.

In response, Durin Gleaves (of Adobe) in a post dated 31 March 2007 said, 'I agree that Reverse would be an obvious feature, but I'm afraid it's not going to make it into version 1.0 (CS3). I assure you that several of us are pushing to see it in 2.0 (CS4).'(3)

Creating a new file was added in CS4. While the feature to 'reverse' a sound was never implemented after its discontinuation.(4)

Omnisphere 2 Slow

Feb 13, 2019  Having the same problem on my on my Mac even after following the directions for How to control a Mac running macOS 10.14 Mojave on both apple computers one running MAC OS 14 and one running MacOS 10.13. Team Viewer is the same Version on both computers. Also added Teamview to the Firewall Settings still no keyboard and mouse on remote computer. TeamViewer Not Working in Windows 10. Windows 10 is running on more than 800 million devices. Recently, I noticed a problem in it: the TeamViewer not working. Many users reported that they can't use it anymore after upgrading systems to Windows 10. There is no connection to partner. The session limit of Teamviewer is reached. Omnisphere 2 is slow as heck. So I just got omnisphere 2 and it is super slow. Traktor pro kontrol s2. It takes 30 seconds to load the plugins and 5 seconds to load each sound so browsing for sounds is hell. My PC can definitely run it since it is an i7 7700HQ, 16 GB RAM 256 GB SSD. Also, all of omnisphere and fl studio is on the ssd so i can't see where the problem lies. Username: Password: (lost your username or password?) Hi everybody! Does anybody else have issues with Omnisphere 2 in terms of loading times of the GUI? In particular, if you load up a project - and open a track with Omni2 on it, its a delay of about 30 seconds until the GUI shows up. (S1 is not reactive in that time, too..) Made the same test with Bitwig Studio, and there is only a delay about 5 seconds until the GUI shows up. Anyone else can test this, or is it already a known issue? (IMPORTANT: has to be a big project (around 30+ tracks with different VSTs loaded.etc.) in a fresh project, only loading one instance of Omnisphere is also fast ~about 5 seconds)

Yes, it's been slower to load for me also. I got both Omni2 and S1 3 at about the same time. Always assumed it was the new Omni that was slow. Everything else loads at the same speed. S1 3 definately has worse CPU performance than V2 for me.

yeah def dealing with around 2000 ms of GUI lag with omni 2 in pretty much any daw I open it up in. its on omnis side.

no its not omnisphere's fault, as I said - in Bitwig Studio the opening process of the GUI is much faster (around 5 sec in big projects with many omnisphere instances)

Thanks a lot! This is a really serious issue..if you use many omnisphere instances, waiting everytime 30> seconds is a real workflow-killer.

See I talked about a maximum of 2000 ms of lag for the gui to open. I don't have any difference in omni load times on my beast of a computer in different daws was my point. Your talking 5000 ms+ something is going on

Omni 2.1 released this morning. Improvements include fixing the slow load/boot time for Omni 2. So, apparently it was Omni, not Studio One. Haven't tried it out yet, just woke up.

No graphics card in my system. Intel I7-4790 cpu.

So most likely you have Intel integrated on the mobo. Intel makes a crappy driver. I would look for an update to that. Check with your pc manufacturer website, as sometimes windows incorrectly reports the installed driver to be the most current.
