Oh how darkly we dream 💭 This series was very hit and miss for me. Some truly great books in this series by Jeff Lindsay like *Dexter is Delicious* and then some truly odd books like *Dexter in the Dark* 🔪 But always a very interesting play on unreliable narrator, amoral hero, and satirical humour 🕵️ Not every book has to be a slam dunk, a home run, or some other sports metaphor 🏈 I bought every book in the series after all! That says something! 📚 I think the problem for me was reading the books and watching the series simultaneously and how that warped my appreciation for each 📺 I never fully embraced the idea of the Dark Passenger as a literal demon, though maybe I'd appreciate that in a reread 😈 What did you think of the Dexter Morgan books?
