My most “borrowed” photo ever. Flashback to 2011: When I built a tribute deck to honor the now late Eddie VanHalen. It was our first automation where we took an #Azek deck box and actuated it to remotely power up on command. It had a power cooler, Xbox 360 and stereo system in it that featured #guitarhero. Earlier in my #deckboardbending career, I only had one set of @heatcon heating blankets at the time. Decking was @timbertech #xlm pvc and @azekexteriors trim boards. #cortex was only a starter trim kit at the time, so I ordered a ton of them to cortex the entire deck to create the pattern. The entire sub floor was PT plywood with an ice and water guard barrier below the decking. Definitely an aggressive install back then.
