Traffic Advisory Ahead Of Holi

Delhi Traffic Police has made elaborate traffic arrangements to ensure the safety of motorists on roads on the festival of Holi which will be celebrated on March 10, 2020. Traffic police personnel will check instances of drunken driving, over-speeding, reckless driving, zig-zag driving, dangerous driving, red light jumping, triple riding, driving by minor, driving/riding without a helmet, and performing stunts on two-wheelers among other violations.

Over 170 traffic pickets and the district police will be deployed to ensure a peaceful and safe Holi celebration on Tuesday, they said. Delhi traffic police will also deploy around 1,600 staff for the purpose.

Road Safety Workshop 2019

DSF organized a workshop with Delhi Traffic police on ‘Traffic and Road Safety’ for students. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Yaseen sir, who is a Traffic Police Inspector at Lodi colony Police Station.

Addressing the students, Mr. Yaseen highlighted the importance of following traffic rules and road safety. He helped the students to understand more about the traffic rules, various types of fines and new rules to reduce traffic congestion.

Students were also sensitized on road accidents due to violation of traffic rules or their poor implementation by the public. Through the workshop, students were able to understand the work of traffic policemen and their tireless efforts in bringing safety and smooth traffic flow for the public.

The informative session concluded with an interaction with the students followed by vote of thanks.

DSF ने छात्रों के लिए 'ट्रैफिक एंड रोड सेफ्टी' पर दिल्ली ट्रैफिक पुलिस के साथ एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया। कार्यशाला का संचालन श्री तसीम सर ने किया, जो लोधी कॉलोनी पुलिस स्टेशन में ट्रैफिक पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर हैं।

छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए, श्री तसीम जी ने यातायात नियमों और सड़क सुरक्षा के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने छात्रों को यातायात नियमों, विभिन्न प्रकार के जुर्मानाों और नए नियमों के बारे में समझने में मदद की जिससे कि यातायात की भीड़ को कम किया जा सके।

यातायात नियमों के उल्लंघन या जनता द्वारा उनके खराब कार्यान्वयन के कारण छात्रों को सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर भी ध्यान दिया गया। कार्यशाला के माध्यम से, छात्रों को यातायात पुलिसकर्मियों के काम और जनता के लिए सुरक्षा और सुगम यातायात प्रवाह लाने के उनके अथक प्रयासों को समझने में मदद मिली।

सूचनात्मक सत्र छात्रों के साथ बातचीत के बाद संपन्न हुआ, जिसके बाद धन्यवाद ज्ञापन किया गया।
