Hi!Idk if this has been done before, but could I get some head cannons of how the family of the mercs (Heavy’s mother and sisters, Scout’s mom and maybe brothers, Demo’s mom)react to their s/o and having like a niece/nephew/grandchild depending on the relation.I just think it would be cute

A/N: This can honestly tie in with another headcanon ask I did involving children. As a side note, I personally headcanon Scout’s brothers as being half-brothers. Hope you enjoy! :)

Scout:

- Scout honestly didn’t want his brothers to properly get involved with his life at first, mainly because of how they grew up and how they treated him

- Being half-brothers, Scout doesn’t really trust them too well either

- His mom on the other hand, he wanted to tell her E V E R Y T H I N G that happened in his life. He just loves her too much

- When he brings you home, he’s really nervous about what will happen, especially around his brothers

- Things surprisingly don’t go half bad, especially when you prove to his brothers that you can kick ass

- Scout’s mom is just relieved that Scout was able to find someone wonderful and lovely, and she loves joking around with you and telling you embarrassing stories of her son

- When the time came and Scout had his own children, it was around the time his brothers were settling down and moving on from their delinquent demeanour

- They really enjoy having a niece/nephew to spoil on Christmas, and they’re softies around them

- Scout’s mom is the ultimate Grandma

- She’s the one that allows the children to have cookies before bed, lots of cake and lots of TV

- The children love visiting her as often as possible

Demoman:

- Demoman’s mother was a person that Demoman held high respect and love for

- Being blind has not stopped this woman from whooping her son’s ass if he does something wrong

- When he begins to talk to her about you, she catches on the fact that her son is in love and demands he stop being a coward and confess to you already

- When you both meet at last, she is overjoyed and begins embarrassing Demoman on the spot

- She will tell you stories of his father and their line of generational demolition work, and the fact that the family owns a castle

- When the children eventually arrive in the future, she keeps discipline up but she won’t lay a finger on them

- She lets them sit in front of the TV and gives them snacks so long as they behave and do what they have to do

- She will encourage the grandchildren to become demolition experts

- She will be the granny that lives with the main family

Heavy:

- This man was always putting family above all else, even if it came down to a decision between them and his job

- He didn’t hesitate to introduce you to his mother and sisters, but boy were you nervous about meeting them

- It took a while for his sisters to validate you into the family, mainly because the last thing they wanted to see was their big brother hurt

- When they did accept you into the family, they were like the sisters you always wanted (even if they were intimidating like your Heavy)

- Heavy’s mother took to you like a duck to water and always prepared a feast whenever you accompanied Heavy back home

- When you fell pregnant for the first time, Heavy’s sisters started taking bets on the gender of the child long before you were three months pregnant

- Zhanna somehow won that bet

- To the children, Heavy’s sisters were protective and encouraging much like Heavy was, except they were there to help cause harmless mischief

- Heavy’s mother would be such a gentle grandmother to her grandchildren. She would love babysitting them, singing songs to them and telling them stories of the family

- Hope you like Russian stories, because Heavy’s mother has a whole library stored in her head

Sniper:

- Sniper was so nervous introducing you to his mother and father, especially his dad

- You yourself was scared to make a terrible first impression in front of them

- The moment Sniper Introduced you as his lover, his father dropped to his knees and yelled for joy

- This man lost faith in his son ever finding someone nice to date long ago and boy was he RELIEVED

- His mother took a more non-insane bubbly reaction, embracing you and Sniper into a hug and announcing a family feast

- When they passed away, it took a toll on the both of you, especially when Sniper found out that they weren’t his real parents

- Meeting his birth parents was like introducing Soldier to the idea of higher education; it was an absolute nightmare!

- The constant glares you were given by Lar-Nar and the obnoxious questions asked by Bill-Bell got on your nerves faster than it did for the very patient bushman

- You hated to admit that you were relieved they were selfish enough to bail when things got bad

- When you and Sniper had children, you both told stories of their loving grandparents and how much they would have adored and loved them if they ever met them

- He would often tell the children how his father would have given terrible advice and a shot of whiskey on the rocks by the time they were 12, or how his mother would have become the best pie maker in the world because of them

- Biological parents on Sniper’s side of the family were never mentioned once and good riddance to that

TF2 Mage AU

A Team Fortress 2 AU where magic exists and I change the storyline.

Hi! I don’t post here often, so I thought I’d change that by posting something that’s been occupying my thoughts for a while: a TF2 mage AU! When I discovered that a mage AU didn’t exist (at least, not any that I could find), I just had to take it upon myself to make one of my own. So, here are all of the ideas I currently have for the AU! Note that (eventually) this will become a written story. How long that will take, I have no clue. I still need a plot (if you have any plot ideas please please let me know; I’m desperate).

Basic Premise/World Info

The premise of the AU is, obviously, that mages exist. When people reach a certain age, they are allowed to start learning a single type of magic. There are many different magic types, ranging from elemental magic to dark magic. When a mage reaches a certain skill level, they are given a Familiar. They do not get to pick their Familiar- their Familiar picks them. They then keep their Familiar as a pet. The Familiar’s state of health, life span, and mood are synced with their owners (so for example, when their owner is sick the Familiar is sick, when the owner is sad the Familiar is sad, when the owner dies the Familiar dies, etc.). There are some people who choose not to take up a type of magic. These people are creatively referred to as Nomages, and in some cultures are looked down upon (though the same could be said about Mages).

Some things to clear up about the altered side of the AU are 1) The BLU team does not exist; I never saw a need for the two teams, and having them both just leads to basic and generally overused plot lines, 2) Australium doesn’t exist!! No immortality crap, 3) Gray Mann is the younger brother of Redmond and Blutarch (Red and Blu are still twins) and does not have a ridiculous story of him being able to talk since birth and being raised by eagles and whatnot, and 4) Saxton Hale is not very important to the plot. In fact, he’s actually dead in this AU. I wasn’t going to include him at all because I don’t like him and I couldn’t figure out how to fit him in, but a friend of mine actually had a cool idea for him being dead that I’ll elaborate on later.

Anyways, with all that out of the way, it’s time to introduce the characters!

Characters (headcanons and other details will be saved for asks)

Offense Classes (Elemental Mages)

Scout

Name: Jeremy Andrews

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

POB: Boston, Massachusetts, USA

Age: 27

Magic Type: Wind

Uses his magic to move faster, jump higher, and knock back enemies. I’d imagine he’d also use it to propel himself past or over enemies to land in front of or on top of them.

Decided to learn wind magic for basically the canon reason: he wanted to get the upper hand in fights, and also wanted to manage to beat his brothers to fights. So, instead of Speed magic, he decided to take up Wind magic since not only did it make him faster, but it is a great tool for fighting.

Soldier

Name: Jane Doe

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Pansexual, he really has no preference

POB: Minneapolis, Missouri, USA

Age: 50

Magic Type: Earth

Uses his magic to reach high places and throw literal boulders at people; basically a replacement for his RPG.

Took up earth magic to thereotically assist him in WWII (because if he’s a mage, they’d have to accept him, right?). He also found being able to throw destructive boulders to be incredibly helpful in any fight.

Pyro

Name: ???

Gender: Nobody knows, everybody just refers to them as a they or an it.

Sexuality: Aromantic asexual

POB: ???

Age: ???

Magic Type: Fire

Fire.

Idk what to tell you man they just really like fire.

Doesn’t have the optical mask; they see everything as it really is, but their behavior towards fire and death and destruction remains the same. They still like unicorns and rainbows.

Defense Classes (Trait Mages)

Engineer

Name: Dell Conagher

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Mostly straight, but he leans both ways. Ultimately, he doesn’t care much about relationships.

POB: Bee Cave, Texas, USA

Age: 43

Magic Type: N/A (Nomage)

Doesn’t see a need to learn magic, he already has enough skill in the engineering field.

Was mainly hired because his family worked for the Admin’s family for decades. And also because, y’know, he’s one of the smartest people on the planet.

Heavy

Name: Mikhail 'Misha' Morozov

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Bisexual

POB: Dzhugdzhur Mountains, Khabarovsk Krai, USSR

Age: 57

Magic Type: Strength

Uses his magic to make himself inhumanly strong whenever he so chooses. This means he can switch from oh so gentle to strong enough to crush bone in seconds.

Took up Strength magic after he escaped the gulag to better protect his family, should the need arise.

Demoman

Name: Tavish DeGroot

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

POB: Ullapool, Scotland

Age: 49

Magic Type: Leaping

His magic basically just lets him jump really high (higher than Scout can go with his magic). This lets him shoot/throw grenades/bombs from more effective and destructive distances.

Mostly took up Leaping magic just to get his mom off his back about him learning magic. His father was a Leaping Mage, so Demo simply followed in his footsteps.

Support Classes (Arcane Mages)

Medic

Name: Dr. Ludwig Humboldt

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Gay

POB: Stuttgart, Germany

Age: 45

Magic Type: Necromancy

Familiar: Archimedes - Dove

Uses his magic to revive people, heal people, and communicate with the dead.

Took up the controversial art of necromancy to aid in his job. This eventually cost him his medical license.

Ngl I'm super excited to write Necromancer Medic I'm really happy with this concept help

Sniper

Name: Mick Mundy

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

POB: Whyalla, Australia

Age: 28

Magic Type: Shadow

Familiar: Hunter - Australian Shepard

Uses his magic to teleport into and transform into shadows. This is helpful for sneaking in between watchtowers and passing people unseen.

Began learning Shadow magic before he was even a sniper. He has always been an introvert and wanted to be able to get through crowds unseen and hide from people without being found.

Despite his young age, he already has a Familiar. He's just that much of a professional.

Is actually from Australia and the Mundys are his birth parents.

Spy

Name: Eugène Baudelaire

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

POB: Bordeaux, France

Age: 46

Magic Type: Mind

Familiar: Jacques - Birman

Uses his magic to read minds, bend wills, and use telepathy. These abilities all have some limits, but they are incredibly useful nonetheless.

Always enjoyed being sneaky and deceitful as a child, and as he got older he started learning Mind magic. This combined with his cunning nature and Dell's cloaking technology makes him one of the most stealthy and dangerous men in existence.

Although he denies it, he loves Jacques more than anything or anybody else. He'll often let the cat curl up on his lap while he's reading a magazine in his smoking room.

Other Characters

The Administrator

Name: Helen Callaway

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Aromantic asexual. People are horrid.

POB: Bristol, UK

Age: 56

Magic Type: N/A (Nomage)

Runs Team Fortress and uses them for her own needs.

A family friend of the Manns who took over TF after all the Mann brothers were m y s t e r i o u s l y murdered.

Miss Pauling

Name: Allison Pauling

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Closeted lesbian

POB: Like. America or something. (Madison, Wisconsin for now idk)

Age: 31

Magic Type: N/A (Nomage)

A close friend and long-time assitant to the Admin. Eagerly helps her run TF.

Redmond Mann

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

POB: England or somewhere, idfk. The Manns are British or something right?

Age: 89

Magic Type: Fire

Before his and Blutarch's death, he ran the RED team. After his death, the remains of his team consisted of only Pyro, Engie, Demo, and Spy.

Never used his magic. They only reason he learned Fire magic was to try to get the upper hand on his twin.

Blutarch Mann

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

POB: Ditto

Age: 89

Magic Type: Ice

Ran the BLU team before he died and the two teams were merged. After his death, his team consisted of only Scout, Soldier, Heavy, Medic, and Sniper. Since he had more people on his team at the end, he counts this as a win for him.

Also never used his magic. Learned Ice magic also to try to get the upper hand as his brother. Their magic types basically cancelled each other out, so this was not helpful in the slightest.

Gray Mann

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight, but couldn't care less

POB: Ditto

Age: 84

Magic Type: Shadow

Familiar: Delta - Bald Eagle

After he murdered his older brothers, he took over TF Industries and merged RED and BLU to create Team Fortress.

Took up Shadow magic in preparation for the day he would get what he wanted. It also comes in handy for literally anything illegal.

Saxton Hale

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

POB: A U S T R A L I A .

Age: 37

Magic Type: Strength

Ran TF Industries in its early days alongside the Mann twins before he died.

Learned Strength magic to better wrestle animals. That's it.

Idolized by literally only Soldier. Everybody else is like "Yeah no that guy was an idiot."

Wow. That was a lot to write, and I did it all in one sitting. It is late. I am losing the ability to comprehend any thoughts.

So anyways, I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts on this!! It's a heavy WIP, so I'd appreciate feedback and suggestions ;) Also, please feel free to submit asks about the AU!! It'd help a lot with its development! Also, plot ideas would be MUCH appreciated. Literally the only thing that ever prevents me from writing is my inability to come up with a plot. So if you have literally ANY ideas, please do submit them via an ask! I'd love to hear them, no matter how stupid you think they may be!

Standard fluff question but mercs reacting to their lover telling them theyre gonna be parents?

Scout-

What?! You serious!? He’s gotta tell everybody!! Tell’s his ma, his 7 brothers, the entire team, Miss Pauling, the Administrator, Saxton Hale, Bidwell, Merasmus, etc. Everybody and their fish is gonna know you’re pregnant and expecting. Thanks Scout.

Promises to be the best damn father there ever was! But he doesn’t know how to be one. So how does he learn? Asks his ma! Seeing as she was the only consistent parent in his life, it only feels right to talk to her about child raising. She tells him everything she knows from raising him and his brothers, all on her own, of course. He hangs onto her every word. He even takes notes.

Having any pregnancy cravings? This boy is sprinting to the store and buying damn near everything in there! Feet hurt? Lay back and let the massage master work his magic! Want some cuddles? He’s already holding you. This boy has got you covered!

Soldier-

You mean to tell him there’s going to be a little solider running around here soon? That’s wonderful! He’s been wanting to train a new recruit! Announces to the team that there will be a new soldier joining their ranks with a big stupid grin on his face.

Already planning out how he’s gonna turn your kid into a skilled soldier. First, they must have a sensible haircut. Second, he must tell them the story and war strategy of Sun Tzu. Third, he shall introduce your kid to his heads outside. Fourth, he will blah blah blah blah...just be warned that Soldier will someday teach your kid the glory of fighting naked while covered in honey.

Wants to immediately start looking at baby names. You already know this man is gonna wanna name your kid something like America or Liberty. If you’re cool with those names, then go right ahead. But if no, then suggest a name you like and just say it’s patriotic or American. He’ll believes you. Still insists that your kids middle name be something like America.

Pyro-

Baby...they’re gonna be a parent? R-Really?? You just made them the happiest pyromaniac around! Will burst into tears under their mask and is going to tackle you into a hug. They’re so happy!! Not even pyrovision could make them feel this good! Everyone on the team can just feel the happiness radiating off of them.

They already know they’ll love their baby unconditionally but what if the baby is scared of them? They look like a monster in and out of the suit...so they decided to ditch the suit for a while and just wrap their entire body in bandages. Their lover tells them they look silly and they should just show the baby how they really look. From then, Pyro actually stops wearing his suit and mask when off the battlefield

Pyro wants to decorate the nursery with you. So that means painting Pyroland scenery on the walls and building a crib. Pyro also leaves all their stuffies in the nursery (even Balloonicorn) for their baby when they’re finally born.

Demo-

THE DEGROOT CLAN SHALL PREVAIL!!! THE NEXT GENERATION OF DEGROOT’S WILL BE EVEN STRONGER!! Ahem, yeah Demo is pretty happy when he learns the news. Before you know it, every member of the DeGroot clan knows about the pregnancy and is sending the both of you care packages. The care packages are mostly full of bombs and fireworks.

DeGroot clan tradition demands that the parents abandon their kid and only reclaim them when they learn their true bombing potential. Tradition also demands they lose both their eyes. Demo will understand if you are rightfully horrified by these traditions. He is too. So he just says to hell with tradition! He’s never gonna abandon his kid and make them go through what he did! And it’s their choice if they want to lose their eyes or not! He rather you and your kid be happy than make sure some dumb tradition is followed.

Doesn’t drink as much anymore when he learns you’re pregnant. He doesn’t want to give you’re pregnant self a harder time by being black out drunk all the time. He’s also doing it for the baby. He wants his kid to think of him as some fun bomb throwing dad, not a fun bomb throwing drunk dad.

Heavy-

You’re...having a baby? This...this is the best news he’s heard in a while! Is going to pull you into a bear hug and spin you around while laughing jovially, tears are beginning to prick into his eyes. Will carry you all the way to med bay just so he could tell his favorite doctor the good news. He’s carrying you to every team member and telling them the good news too. Not long after he’s gonna call his mom and sisters and tell them the good news. He’s all smiles for weeks after you tell him.

Becomes 10x more caring. Will have Medic check you daily to see if everything is okay. Will do tons of research on what you’re not supposed to do during pregnancy and will make sure you don’t do any of those things. This man will carry everywhere you need to go, can’t have you straining yourself now, can we? Makes sure you and the baby are as comfy as possible.

Along with becoming more caring, he also becomes a lot more protective. No one except Medic (even then Medic’s only allowed to get up close and personal when doing your check ups) is allowed anywhere near you. Heavy becomes something of a personal bodyguard. Will glare angrily at anyone who gets too close to you. Will also not hesitate to throw somebody across the room if they do manage to get close. Eventually everybody learns to stay out of your way. They also realize they shouldn’t do anything reckless or dangerous in front of you in fear of incurring Heavy’s wrath.

Engineer-

His honeybee is pregnant?! Yeehaw!! This calls for a celebration! This boy is gonna throw a whole ass party with the team and just cook an entire feast for everyone. Spends the entire time insisting that you eat enough for two and making sure you’re having a good time. Never fails to remind everyone that you’re pregnant, eventually Demo and Sniper make it into a drinking: every time the word “pregnant” comes out of Engie’s mouth, they take a shot.

Dad mode overload. Engie’s days are now spent just tending to you. He’s going to be cooking you your favorite breakfast and dinner everyday from then on. Full body massages are going to become a lot more common. Will fluff your pillows to their most fluffiest state and make sure your bed is as comfy as possible. Cleans up any mess you make with no hesitation. You’d think he would be tired from all this extra work but no. He’s just as energized and motivated as ever.

Just like Pyro, he wants to build a nursery with you. He’ll leave the painting and decorating to you while he starts building the crib and every other piece of furniture needed for a nursery. Will also not hesitate to build his own toys for your baby to play with when their born.

Medic-

You both kinda find out at the same time actually. He’s doing your monthly check up when he finds out you’re pregnant. Then he tells you and it just kinda spirals from there. He’s all smiles and cheers when you both tell the team but that all but disappears when the two of you are alone that night. He never imagined he would be a father...isn’t he too old anyway? Those thoughts quickly leave when he realizes how excited you are. Maybe having a baby with you, the love of his life, won’t be too bad after all. Plus the thought of having a little apprentice gets him all giddy.

Just like Heavy, you’re gonna have daily check ups from then on. As your doctor and lover, he has to make sure you and your child is at peak health. Will get snappy if you try to skip an appointment. Will also have a panic attack if he sees something even slightly wrong with you or the baby. Even his doves look a little stressed. So it kinda becomes the patient’s job to calm the doctor down.

Will have his doves on guard duty. Whenever he’s not around you, one of his doves (mostly Archimedes) will stick with you and keep a close eye on you. In the event that something does happen to you, his dove will report back to him and squawk at him. That’s Medics cue to drop everything and attend to you.

Sniper-

Not gonna lie, this man is gonna faint when you tell him. Believe him when he says he’s overjoyed, but he’s scared out of his mind. He’s not fit to be a dad!! He pisses in jars and throws it at people!! He shoots people for a living!! HE LIVES IN A VAN!!! What kind of normal dad does that?!? Snipes is gonna cling to you even more and ask for constant reassurances. He doesn’t want to screw this whole dad thing up...

Will ask Engie to help renovate his van so there’s more room for you and the baby, in the end it kind of resembles a trailer. Fully intends on traveling to places with you and the baby. Witnessing the world’s many wonders with the two of you will only make those moments that much sweeter.

Just like the other guys, he wants you to be as comfy as possible. So that means knitting a couple blankets and sweaters for you if you ever get cold. Will also do the same thing for the baby, he’ll even try to make little booties for them too!

Spy-

excuse me what the fuck??? Doesn’t faint like Sniper but gets very pale and sweaty. Oh god this can’t be happening again...once was already enough. Seriously plans on running away, he’s already trying to fake his death, when it dawns on him: Scout turned out to be disaster. He wasn’t there for Scout...so there’s a chance of your kid turning into a Scout 2.0...no...he won’t allow that to happen. Spy promises to stay and raise your kid right. He refuses to make the same mistake again.

You think he’ll allow you and your child to live on the base? Ha, don’t make him laugh! Being the extra bitch he is, he is going to buy you a whole ass house and it’s all yours. Fully decorated and everything of course. Being the shitty good expecting father like he is, he’ll spend a lot of his time there with you. It starts to feel like home after a while.

When you’re sleeping, he’ll just hold you and stroke your belly. He’s scared. He knows almost nothing about being a real father. It would be so easy to run away. But...he can’t. He loves you far too much to abandon you both now. Most nights are spent like this during the pregnancy.

Miss Pauling-

Aw crap, how is she gonna work and be pregnant at the same time? She’s always wanted kids but why did she have to get pregnant when she’s working a job that only allows her 1 day off a year. She’ll try to hide her pregnancy and keep working. But the Administrator knows everything and just tells her to go home for as long she needs. In return, she just asks that you take over for Pauling. Pauling will still insist on helping you with your new job.

Pauling is going to be feeling a little down now that she’s basically jobless and forced to try to relax for months. Just read gun catalogs to her and give her hot chocolate and she’ll feel a little better. Though being with you does improve her spirits greatly.

Is gonna wanna spruce up her apartment and bit and make some more room for the baby. So that means buying new furniture and painting the walls purple. With all the purple, you have a feeling your kid is gonna be conditioned to like the color. Just don’t mention this to Pauling cause she will chase you down and insist on painting you purple too.

2017年1月9日、豊平区民インタビューを終えた雑談の中で、豊平区民さんは「vaporwaveと北海道の接点は多いですね。むしろ、vaporwaveは北海道の音楽と言ってもいいくらい」と意味深な言葉を残し、東京を去っていった。自身が小樽市創業106年の不思議スポットを題材にした『中野植物園』をリリースしたり、影響を受けたと公言する情報デスクVIRTUAL『札幌コンテンポラリー』のリリース以外、その共通点はあやふやなままで、その言葉の真意ははっきりとは掴めなかった。

vaporwaveと北海道との接点とは何があるのか。そんな中で、bandcampでリリースされるvaporwaveをチェックしている中で発見したのが「ジャパン・クラフト・コンビニ」を掲げ、北海道で多店舗展開されるコンビ二チェーン店に似た名前の〈seikomart〉という謎のレーベルだった。

日本でもvaporwaveのレーベルが少ない状況の中、たった1人でカセットを作り、さらには手作りブローチやピンバッチなども手作りし、80年代のカセットテープも販売するという、日本で唯一のカセットレーベルとして活動するseikomart。そんな独自のレーベル運営に海外のカセットレーベル達も注目する、seikomartにインタビューを敢行しました。

1. まず、Seikomartさんがレーベルを運営されている場所や、ご本人の事についてお聞きします。Seikomartさんがレーベル運営・拠点として活動されているのは日本のどこですか？また運営者のお名前はどうお呼びすればよいですか？

Seikomart (以下S) : 現在の拠点は北海道札幌市近郊の街です。名前はRumi/Lumi どちらでも可です。

2. bandcampで確認できる情報によると、2015年12月31日に‪(I。P。A。) サウンド・システムのアルバム『Live at Hanare Street Gallery - New Years Eve 2015』がリリースされてからこのレーベルは始まっています。Seikomartが始まったきっかけなどを教えてください。‬

・2015年11月渋谷HANAREストリートギャラリー

S: 以前パーティーやアートエキシビジョンを主催しており、2015年11月に東京渋谷区にあるHANAREストリートギャラリー（現在は閉鎖）にてLa Mano Fria(art part)と(I。P。A。)サウンド・システム(music part)とのコラボ企画であるVaporwave ARTエキシビジョンを開催しました。現在販売しているVaporwaveミニポスターセットはこの企画で制作された作品でもあります。

エキシビジョンが終了するときにニューイヤーズパーティイベントをギャラリーにて開催したのをきっかけにSeikomartがスタートしました。

3. セイコーマートで連想するのはやはり北海道に多くシェアするコンビニチェーンの名前ですが、コンビニやチェーン店にどのような思い入れがあってこの名前にしたのでしょうか？

  S: 北海道代表としてバラエティに富びDIYにこだわる自分たちの店をつくる事が先ず第一にあって、Vaporwaveの多くがmalls(モール）、lounges(ラウンジ）、shopping places(お店）を主題として展開していることや資本主義の皮肉な点である通常のお店/商店が十分に便利なのにも関わらず、依存する人々は”コンビニエンス” ストアという”便利なお店”を作り上げた社会情勢を表す意味合いなどをも含めてSeikomartにしました。

4. Seikomartは2000年代初頭からレーベルオーナーであるLa Mano Friaが運営する〈Beta Bodega〉のサブレーベルとして運営されているという情報が見られます。その他にも〈Beta Bodega〉のサブレーベルにはU-HALL法人営業のメンバーが運営する〈Botanica1〉、〈Rice And Beans〉、〈Botanica Del Jibaro〉など多くのレーベルが傘下になっていますが、Seikomartはその〈Beta Bodega〉の傘下で、どういった経緯で活動する事になったのでしょうか？

S: 2015年の夏にLa Mano FriaがDIYとVaporwaveをメインにした実験的なレーベルSud Swap Audio Brewingを立上げました。 2015年の秋に開催されたHANAREストリートギャラリーでのエキシビジョンをきっかけに誕生したSeikomartとSud Swap Audio Brewingはお互いのレーベルを地球の両サイドからサポートし合うという事で兄弟レーベルとなり、その後U-HALL法人営業、Botanica1が追加されグローバルクラフトコミュニティになりました。

5. Seikomart bandcampのリリースカタログを見ると、アイルランド・ダブリン出身のアーティストや、フロリダ、マイアミ出身のアーティストなど国籍を問わず様々なアプローチのvaporwaveをリリースし続けています。それらのアーティストはどういった経緯でリリースされているのでしょうか？

S 主にスカウト、デモの受付、口コミによってアルバムをリリースしています。

6. 2015年12月31日にレーベルがスタートしてから現在までに80作品がリリースされ、カセットテープ、CDR、果てはミニポスター、さらには胸像オリジナルブローチ（！）まで多くのフィジカルアイテムがリリースされています。これらの制作はSeikomartさん本人、お1人で作られているものなのでしょうか？

S: 実はそうなんです。

7. bandcamp merchandiseでこれらのオリジナルグッズを制作から販売まで手がけているレーベル自体が少ないと思うのですが、レーベルでグッズを販売しよう！と思ったきっかけやエピソードなどあれば教えてください。

S: Seikomartを立ち上げた時には既にたくさんの有名なVaporwave関連レーベルがあったので、とにかく自分たちがたのしめること、そしてSeikomartを訪れたお客さんがワクワクできることを第一に考えて進めた結果こうなりました。

Vaporwaveファンの皆さんは感性が鋭いので��楽以外の商品を扱うことはSeikomartにとってとても良い刺激になっています。

8. また、そのリリースにはカセットテープを主体としたリリースが多く見られます。カセットテープでのリリースをする理由などはあるのでしょうか？

S: Seikomartが掲げるコンセプト”Craft Konbini”にとって自分たちが音楽やDIYを楽しみ、お客さんが楽しんで買物ができるという事がとても重要だと思います。手作業でカセットテープを作るからこそ生まれるメリットを有効に活用すれば、アーティストさんにとっては大切な作品がカセットテープとなり、お客さんにとっては他レーベルでは購入できないカセットテープが手に入るといった”人の流れ”が出来ます。この流れを作る事がSeikomartには欠かせないもので、Seikomartに出入りしてくれるみんなが”楽しむ”ためにはカセットテープという小さなメディアがとても大きな存在となっています。

9. Seikomartさんの工房は「seikomart dojo」という名前でinstagramなどで制作工程や、ジャケットワークの工夫点などを発信されています。カセットテープ制作の際のジャケットアイデアなどは自身で考案されているのですか？

S: カセットテープ、CD-Rのジャケットやラベルデザインの全制作はLa Mano Fria(Sud Swap Audio)にお願いしています。ジャケットデザインはアルバムのコンセプトを最大限に魅せる大切なスペースなのでプロフェッショナルの力を借りています。

10. またレーベルロゴやアートワークなどで多くのかわいい手書き女子高生イラストやキャラクターなどが描かれていますが、これらのイラストは誰が描いているのでしょうか。また、アイコンのキャラには名前や設定はありますか？

S: ロゴとなっているキャラクターやコンピレーションで描かれているアートワークは全て私がデザインして描いています。

キャラクターの名前: Angryyen(アングリーエン）

設定: お店のイメージキャラクターで通貨の￥(円)と縁を意味する招き猫、守り神的存在。Seikomartロゴの中にある惑星”o”に住んでいる。

体は¥マークを逆さまにしたシルエット。頭部から出ているのは実はレシート。蝶ネクタイはユニフォーム。

11. カセットテープの制作工程、デュプリケーション作業など、可能な限り制作工程の流れを教えてください。

S: 1, カセットテープ用のトラックリストを作成。（曲順やボーナストラックの構成などはアーティストさんと一緒に決めています。）

2, ダビングは1本1本手作業でダビングしています。ダビング後は通しで聴き直してクオリティをチェックしています。

3, 印刷会社でプリントアウトしたジャケットを1枚1枚カットし、綺麗に拭いたカセットテープにラベルを貼る。

4, ケースに全てセットしてフィルム包装。

12. レーベル運営と制作の事についてお伺いさせて頂きましたが、Seikomartさんがvaporwaveのフィジカルアイテムを作られる以前の事についてお伺いします。レーベルを運営する前は音楽活動などをしていたのでしょうか？自身と音楽との関わりについて可能な限り教えてください。

S: 具体的な音楽活動は一切していません。私はイラストレーター、デザイナー、DIYプロデューサーで音楽を愛する一人です。私にとってVaporwaveは”ART”であり、”ART”=“Freedom”だと思います。

音楽ジャンルが無く、コンピューターやミュージシャンまたは著作権法などはVaporwaveだから守られているところがあると思うのです。そして誰もそれをコントロールできないということが最大の魅力であり興味深いところだと思います。

13. vaporwaveという言葉が広まった2011年～2012年当時、Seikomartさんが初めてvaporwaveを聴いてどのような印象を持ちましたか？その際に好きだったアルバムなどもあれば教えてください。

S: 初めて聴いたのはYouTubeでChuck Person/sunsetcorpの”Nobody Here”です。「こんな世界があるなんて！」と、音も映像も私にとってはもかなり衝撃的でした。

14. 現在のvaporwaveではドローンからコラージュ、トラップの形式のような様々なジャンルの音楽アプローチまであり、音楽的な解釈自体が広がっているような印象がありますが、Seikomartさんはそのようなvaporwaveの解釈が広がることについてどう考えられていますか？

S: Vaporwaveは境界を持たずいつも私達の実験を受け入れてくれます。音楽的な解釈の広がりや変化は決して特別なことでは無なく、ごく自然で普通の事だと思います。単にとある人達(大抵はミュージシャン)がメトロソング、ヴェイパーノイズ、ヴァイパートラップなどの新しいレーベルを常に作りたいと思っていて、それがVaporwaveであり続けることを止めないからではないでしょうか。

Seikomartは差別も区別もせず全てのVaporwareのホームとしてあり続けたいと思います。

15. Seikomartさんから見て、vaporwaveはどのような現象だと捉えられていますか？

S: 無秩序であり、表現の自由であり、インターネットにおいて最も重要なもの。です。

16. 最後に、Seikomartレーベルからのリリースを聴いた方、カセットを購入した方などにメッセージをお願いします。

S: 数あるレーベルの中からSeikomartを選んでくださり、いつも感謝の気持ちで一杯です。「お客様は神様だ！」精神でこれからもより楽しいお店（レーベル）作りに取り組んで参りますので引き続き応援よろしくお願い致します！

【”蒸気波要点ガイド / vaporwave essential guide”】Reprint memorial feature content: Seikomart Interview.

On January 9, 2017, in a chat that ended Toyohirakumin interview,

1. First, Seikomart will ask about the place where the label is operated and about the person himself / herself. Where in Japan is Seikomart's activity as a label management base? How do I call the operator's name?

Seikomart (hereinafter S) : The current base is the town near Sapporo City, Hokkaido. Either name can be Rumi / Lumi.

2. According to the information that can be confirmed by bandcamp, this label (Live at Hanare Street Gallery - New Years Eve 2015) was released on 31 December 2015 (I. P.A.) sound system album It has begun. Please tell us the reasons that Seikomart began. In case

S: Previous party and art exhibition organizer, La Mano Fria (art part) and (I.P.A.) sound at HANARE Street Gallery (currently closed) in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo in November 2015 We held a Vaporwave ART exhibition that is a collaboration project with the system (music part). When the exhibition ended Seikomart began as a result of holding a New Year's party event at the gallery.

3. Associated with Seiko Mart is the name of a convenience store chain to share many in Hokkaido, but what kind of feeling did you have in a convenience store or chain store and made this name?

4. Seikomart has information that it is managed as a sub label of <Beta Bodega> operated by label owner La Mano Fria since the early 2000s. S: In the summer of 2015 La Mano Fria launched the experimental label Sud Swap Audio Brewing, which mainly consists of DIY and Vaporwave. S: We mainly release scouts, demo reception, album by word of mouth.

6. Since the label started on December 31, 2015, 80 works have been released to date, and many physical items are released to cassette tapes, CDRs, mini posters, even busts original brooch (!). Are these works made by Seikomart himself, one person alone?

7. I think that labels that are handling these original goods from production to sales are few in bancamp merchandise, but let's sell goods on the label! Please tell me if you have any opportunities or episodes.

S: When I launched Seikomart, there were already many famous Vaporwave related labels, so it was as a result of first considering what they enjoyed and the excitement of visitors who visited Seikomart .

Because Vaporwave fans are sharp in sensitivity, dealing with products other than music is a very good stimulus for Seikomart.

8. Also, there are many releases mainly based on cassette tapes in that release. Is there a reason to release on cassette tape?

S: I think that it is very important that we enjoy music and DIY for the concept "Craft Konbini" listed by Seikomart, that customers can enjoy shopping while enjoying it. 10. Also, many cute handwritten high school girl high school students illustration and characters are drawn on the label logo, artwork, etc. Who draws these illustrations? Is there a name or setting for the character of the icon?

S: All the artworks drawn with characters and compilations that are logos are designed and drawn by me.

Character's name: Angryyen (Angryen)

Setting: an image character of a shop, a lucky Cat meaning \ (circle) of currency and rim, a defensive person existence. I live in the planet "o" in the Seikomart logo.

The body is a silhouette with the \ mark upside down. In fact it is a receipt that comes out of the head. Bow tie is a uniform.

11. Please tell me the flow of the production process as much as possible, such as cassette tape production process and duplication work.

S: 1, create a track list for cassette tape. (We have decided together with the artists about the composition of the songs and bonus tracks.)

2, dubbing is done by hand one by one by hand. After dubbing I listen to it and check the quality.

3, Cut one piece of jacket printed out by the printing company and paste the label on the cassette tape cleanly wiped.

12. We asked about label management and production, but we will ask about Seikomart before the physical item of vaporwave was made. Were you doing music activities before operating the label? Please tell me about the relationship between you and music as much as possible.

S: I have not made any concrete music activities. I am one person who loves music with illustrator, designer, DIY producer. For me, Vaporwave is "ART" and I think that "ART" = "Freedom".

There is no music genre, computers, musicians or copyright laws are Vaporwave, so I think there is something being protected. And I think that it is the most attractive and interesting thing that no one can control it.

13. When the word vapor vapor was spread, what was the impression of Seikomart's first listening to vaporwave at the time of 2011-2012? Please tell me if you liked the album etc.

S: The first time I heard is "Nobody Here" by Chuck Person / sunsetcorp on YouTube. "There is such a world!", Both sounds and images were quite shocking for me.

14. At current vaporwave there is a range of drama collages, various genre like music approaches such as trap format, there is an impression that musical interpretation itself is spreading, but Seikomart interprets such vaporwave What do you think about spreading?

S: Vaporwave always accepts our experiments without boundaries. Expansion and change of musical interpretation is not a special thing at all and I think that it is very natural and ordinary thing. Just because some people (mostly musicians) want to always make new labels such as Metro songs, Veiper Noise, Viper Traps, etc. It is because they will not stop being Vaporwave.

Seikomart will continue to be a home for all Vaporware without discrimination and distinction.

15. What kind of phenomena is vaporwave seen from seikomart's point of view?

S: disordered, freedom of expression, the most important thing on the Internet. is.
