Our Pact Marshall herself! Deshauna's taking a break from adventuring with the bears to celebrate another year on my account. Then she'll be back to her regularly scheduled Janthir Wilds escapades.

I'm interested in the backstory of Alistair! What makes him a bad boy and what in his life made him get to that point?

Alistair was raised by his father, an angry, bitter man who was a survivor of the human-charr wars: his mother died when he was young, though how she passed he was never told. He was raised to vehemently hate the charr, and to that end any nonhuman races of Tyria: they were violent, animalistic, and unfeeling. Even those that appeared the most human worshipped animals to the point that they could turn into them if they so chose, his father said. As he grew older, he started training and working with the Separatist movement and took his father's old armor and weapons as his own for the war that he believed was coming.

It was a few years after he had joined the Separatists that he was caught by some rich bitch named Deshauna Tahir, while he was papering Ebonhawke with anti-treaty posters. She forced him into her service in return for her not turning him in to the local guards. He unwillingly agreed, rankled more and more by the "arrangement" as she found love with a norn elementalist named Eshara Ulfhvit and founded a guild filled with all of Tyria's races.

It was when she dragged him all the way to Elona, when Balthazar rose up in defiance of the other five gods, that he saw his chance. With the guild reeling over the deaths of some of their own at the god's hand, Alistair snuck away under the cover of night to pledge his service to Balthazar instead. Balthazar accepted the man's pledge, and he became a guardian of the fallen god, embodying the violence of war, and filled with the god's own rage and lust for revenge. A warning addressed to Deshauna was burned into the wall surrounding the Free City of Amnoon. It is the last the guild has heard from him, but one fears it is not the last they will fear of him.

I'm not great at video editing so the cuts are sharp and there's nothing fancy, but here you go, some of my guys.

(I know the overwhelming answer for Kippa's voice was Paige O'Hara but I think Shoba Narayan was overall a better choice. Lighter, younger, and a clear edge when she actually does get angry.)

Pride Month Showcase - Deshauna Tahir

The second of five children born to a wealthy merchant family living in a village of the descendants of Elonian refugees near Lion's Arch, Deshauna is well known in her community as an activist and a philanthropist. Known for speaking out - loudly - about the Krytan monarchy's refusal to actually handle the housing crisis it exacerbated, she and her family happily support the community around them. She took over the role of Pact Marshal after the death of Trahearne, and she and her wife Eshara have been working tirelessly to make it a force to help people instead of to fight. Deshauna is a lesbian!

I'd have to go with my girl Deshauna Tahir. Heavy armor can be really tricky to style, and the look managed to just spin up perfectly for her. Real talk, I bought that cape exclusively for her. I don't use it on anyone else at this point.

I made Deshauna well before Arcane came out, but man, Mel basically just slammed in as having THE Deshauna vibes and I love it. Should draw Shauna in some of Mel's outfits someday.
