"Is that a threat?" The wizened cat's voice falls to a hardened whisper.

"What do you have to lose?" The Deviless purrs. "Talk is cheap when you can learn first hand if I measure up to this mysterious murderer you see in me."

Just sharing some of my favorite little dialog snippets that I wrote yesterday. I adore the dynamic of Jill attempting to help other monster girls with their problems in order to try and fit into the world.

But they see the Deviless as embodying their problems, so she delights in stepping into the role of antagonizing them. This quickly illustrates how impervious to physical harm she is.

Only for within 2 pages to see the Deviless undone by hostile manifestations of traumas that Jill is actually quite used to shrugging off. This duo has a lot of dramatic contrast where it is easy to setup the concerns of one before the other picks it up and runs with it.

This scene of dialog also gave me a nice little world where monster girls are quite comfortable being quick to fight to the death if resurrection is so readily available. But this leads to a lot of unecessary trauma. The world is actively being haunted by really poor conflict resolution. The fantasy often revolves around how scars manifest echoes of pains that never healed, perpetuating anything that goes unresolved.

The Deviless could run away, but the world would not stop finding reasons to prompt everyone to hate her and the mother that abused her before making it everyone else's problem.

I kinda adore the shape this story is growing into? Also I am awake at 2am so imma blog about my thoughts.

Woke up unsure about what smut scene is next. So have this year's scenes in order as I try and figure out what I am doing for the first t4t relationship in Delths of Promises Sworn.

Deviless x Jill is vore and fleshcrafting that turns into slime girl sex. Deviless is very supportive while Jill redefines her own existance.

Ayre x Fia revolves around caring for dolls. Lots of affirmations.

Ayre x Selescia involves blood drinking and both sides trying new ways of expressing intimacy or adjusting the power dynamic. They haven't had an opportunity to talk yet, but Ayre ultimately trusts her and is more willing to go outside their comfort zone.

Astraea x Supporting cast is me playing around with whatever kinda scene I want. Ayre feeds on desire, so her scenes do not necessarily need to be explicit. This character started out as ace but was a vehicle for me exploring my sexuality.

Snapdragon and Ayre are next.

I have ideas that involve roleplaying, knives, and blindfolds. But that's just surface level observation of what's going on with them.

These two are incredibly important for each other's transition. And Snapdragon has one of the healthiest understanding of her own boundaries and navigating consent.

Snapdragon is just a character most restricted by her station and position in life. So she has to negotiate and bargain or justify her presence in everything outside of being an expendable guard.

And Ayre just finished acting cruel in an effort to be kind. Snapdragon isn't going to let them get away with being self sacrificing or harming without good reason. These two are the most confined to positions of power and responsibility where people will die if they don't do what is needed of them.

There's so much I could do with them. Ayre x Snapdragon is probably gonna be the most tender scenes we are gonna get emotionally.

Now that I have talked myself into this corner, I see them as the pair that talk each other down and convince the other to put down the roles after fighting for their lives.

Astraea might be the first to tell Ayre they are more than the role planned for them.

But Snapdragon is going to be the one to convince them. They're gonna convince each other, constantly reinforcing the love and care in spite of a world that would be happy to replace their corpses.

Writing the dialog for the Jill x Deviless sex scene was very fun. They are both so violently and intimately trans in working fleshcraft into comforting one another.

I really need to finish this scene so I can share it in full.

I feel like the first story of Deluded Hearts is going to have the least amount of casual smut because I am not all that interested in writing human x monster girl scenes. Jill needs to turn into more of a monster for me to enjoy that and I am willing to let the road to euphoric polycule days be a slow burn.

Pallas and the Deviless are worth it tho.
