“Flor Majano – known as ‘Flor’ to their fans – is taking the music world by storm. She didn’t knock politely. She kicked down the door with force, a turbulent beginning that’s not at all out of the ordinary for edgy grunge band Pushpin Piledrive. Influenced by metal and punk bands alike, the subgenres of each respective one evident in Pushpin Piledrive’s emphatic attitude – Flor attributes everything about them to the music they grew up with: grunge, numetal, riot grrrls, crust punk, and everything inbetween. They don’t feel drawn to one style more than others (much like their taste in music) and prefer hand-me-downs to brand names. In Flor’s own words, she wants her style to tell as much of a story as their music: handmade and lived-in.”
